Hello, is it necessary to apply a layer of resin, and will it be affected by water if I do not do so ?

Can you bake any type of metal sold for earring making?

You could use a varnish that is compatible with polymer clay or transparent liquid clay

What about the backs? Do you resin them also? Did you need to sand them?

Did you resin both sides??

How do you get your egdes to not be so messy? I just tried some polymer clay with these fillable charms and my inside edges are not clean at all.

Which resin can we use on clay? I have a softener and hardener both.

Hi Ananta! I've been using these two UV Resin, both are hard type, and haven't had any issues with yellowing or application. Hi Lorrene, I don't think I can post a pic here but it's just the clay covering to the edge of the ring. You can coat the back side with resin also but it'll add more weight. Hope this helps.

Yes you must bake polymer clay.
