Would I be able to request a prop making episode for something simple like a foam sword but apartment edition? Like using only entry level hand tools someone living in an apartment could feasibly justify?

We had lots of fun :) Glad it comes through!

I think this is one of my favorite builds that you guys have done because it's just so wholesome! They turned out great and I love the addition of the butterfly to the net! I also play this game and as soon as I could start making some good custom clothes I actually made a Punished Props sweater haha. Since then I've also made a maker shirt and some other stuff like an Evil Ted hoodie and a Hacksmith tank top haha. My villagers all seem to really enjoy them too!

Loving the shovel, that's gotten me thinking of another cosplay idea i had but dropped ages ago. Might just pick it up now, with a modded version of your shovel (longer shaft, different handle) And I'm sure the net will come in handy.

My favorite part of the butterfly is that it's uncatchable. So frustratingly fun!

I've been suffering from depression this summer from the pandemic and unable to make things. But when both my copy of Foamsmith 3 came in the mail today and you two made a new build video, I think that's a sign for me to keep going.

Old video or not, this is my first time seeing it. All I can think of during the "handle connector" smoothing, is a giant Bullet Bill from Super Mario. That would be incredibly awesome!

I've actually not gotten to play Animal Crossing at all, but it's so ubiquitous, that I might just do this as a casual cosplay, hopefully next year, if the cons are back.

There are silicone tubes used for pipe bending in water-cooling. you just powder them in cornstarch, pull them in the pipe with a string. then you can heat and bend it section by section. Wintergatan uses it on his channel to bend the pipes for his Marblemachine.

​@@punishedprops should make the heating easier, since you don't have to heat up the sand and wait for it to cool down again. needs a bit of practice though. In one video he said that there's some surgical stuff that's cheaper than the watercooling one, or the other way round, can't remember.

Great to see you build something again, even if I don't play Animal Crossing. Is PEX safer to heat up than PVC? I know PVC can release dioxin when heated too much, but I couldn't find out if PEX has the same problem.

I'm not sure! Either way it's always a best practice to avoid overheating materials whenever possible
