Let's Make A Deal Monty Hall "LMAD" 1969 TV GAME SHOW
Ойын-сауық
Let's Make a Deal (also known as LMAD) is a television game show that originated in the United States in 1963 and has since been produced in many countries throughout the world. The program was created and produced by Stefan Hatos and Monty Hall, the latter serving as its host for nearly 30 years.
The format of Let's Make a Deal involves selected members of the studio audience, referred to as "traders", making deals with the host. In most cases, a trader will be offered something of value and given a choice of whether to keep it or exchange it for a different item. The program's defining game mechanism is that the other item is hidden from the trader until that choice is made. The trader thus does not know if they are getting something of equal or greater value or a prize that is referred to as a "zonk," an item purposely chosen to be of little or no value to the trader.
Let's Make a Deal is also known for audience members who dress in outrageous and unique costumes in order to increase their chances of being selected as a trader.

Monty hosted this show masterfully
Wow, this this really cool to see. Thank you for sharing!
A black and white TV series on ABC, rarely do you see this anywhere.

A classic
The original series aired first on NBC in daytime IN COLOR from 1963-1968. Then the series moved to ABC in 1968 where it aired in both the daytime and prime time schedule LIVE and IN COLOR where it lasted until the late 1970’s. LET’S MAKE A DEAL is still the second longest running game show on daytime television
This is an incredibly well transfered kinescope. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Let's Make a Deal celebrated 60 years of television, this is a great game show episode!!
Great to see a daytime episode.
This is not a '63 episode! It didn't air on ABC until the late 60s! Before that it was on NBC.

@@VintageFilmChannel The odds of finding any LMAD eps from the NBC era are slim, as odds are they were probably wiped. There are, however, many ABC daytime and nighttime eps intact.

@@VintageFilmChannel Mod Squad started in 1968 and the beehive hairdos were popular up to 1969. Also that style of 6 wheel Scrambler looks to be from 68 or 69. Ditto the Maytag washer/dryer. So just that... 1968 or 1969.
Monty was real cool❤
Miss this , im 64 now , times were easier back then for me

I'm 62 I remember watching game show like this, love the old commercials
Original commercials are great to watch.......
To me it looked that Monty Hall was more compassionate on the Nighttime shows.
Carol merrill was lovely
love the old lmad all the old products were so cool,,,but i thought mad squad was later 60s
I thought they commercials were from 1963 but, The Mod Quad is from1968. 😅😅😅❤❤❤
The picture quality is pretty good. Actually it's what our black and white sets looked like in the 60's with their 525 scanning lines. "The Mod Squad" sure looks better on our modern HD flat screen TV's. I'm surprised there's no cigarette ads but maybe those were only aired at night.

Tobacco ads were probably deleted for KZread. I'm quite sure the original airing had cigarettes ads because they were everywhere in the 60's.

Cigarette ads occasionally showed up on daytime shows...I sense the networks didn't run many because the percentage of children and teens watching was higher.
I would love to see Let's Make a Deal ABC Daytime-All Episodes from December 29,1969-July 9,1976 on Mega or OneDrive site itself of KZread site with video please. 😀😃😄😁🙂😍🤩👍
That's me at 8:10 I'm still alive!
Interesting how Excedrin had anti depressant in it.....
Agreed
Lmad was in black and white before in color
6:19 - It's Charles Nelson Reilly... but not!
Check out the commercials that featured ABC shows like The Mod Squad and The FBI not to mention commercials featuring Bewitched and That Girl...IN COLOR!

I know he committed suicide.
What's a guy to do? I need to get to Hollywood to go on the "Let's make a deal" show and hope I win a flat screen tv. I just busted mine because I wanted to kill that bug that was bugging me. Turns out it wasn't a bug at all.
17:44 😅 Miraculous Ladybug fandom would get this comment 🙂
Can't stand the new one with Wayne Brady
