Looks like I might have to calibrate the suspension at some point, but I can do it now with the Gap IID tool.

Hi Ben yes I've just calibrated my sport with the gap tool and it's spot on now , when you do it I found i had to measure all 4 corners several time's because of the cantilever affect from corner to corner so stick with it ,it's very satisfying when you get it bang on , i used an old hub centre cap drilled a 4mm hole in the centre and ground a point on a 4mm 40mm bolt put it through the hole and tightened it up and used that to take my measurements it worked a treat take care mate 👍

Every Land Rover owner must have this tool to avoid wasting money at the garage.

well thats a superb series of your l322. got a great list of preventative maintenance jobs for me to do if i actually decide to take the plunge...i love the spanners but i dont want to be under it every weekend...so just teetering on the edge ....your thoughts. does the problems out way the ownership... great vids keep it up. you have a subscriber....

I wouldn’t be without a Range Rover. If you get a good one there are not as many problems as people lead you to believe. But get a bad one that’s not been maintained and I think you could soon go off them.

As far as fault codes go , one of my work mates plugged in a car a few weeks back (I think it was a velar) and got 104 fault codes present in the different modules and the car was actually driving ok .....!

I wonder what options you can configure with it? I’ve seen a couple of videos on powerful UK where they specifically show just turning on the paddles they fitted for example. But I’d be interested to know all the things it offers you.

I’m not entirely sure. I know certain things like towing electrics have to be activated by the dealer, the paddle shifters that you mentioned and probably a lot more. Might be more info on their website.

Yes you can program a key with this, there are a lot of videos on here showing it on different models of Land Rover. I have the BT version.

@@Bensgarage thank you so much i really appreciate that. I’m just looking at buying a second hand L405 and there is a mileage discrepancy when i did a history check so if an iid can read true mileage i will buy one to check it before going ahead with purchase 👍

@@BikerMooseFromMars sorry it has taken a while to respond, I have just been out in the rain fitting a new battery, and had to use the gap iid tool to tell the car it has a new battery. And I can confirm, yes it does record the mileage on the ecu.

Bought direct from Gap Diagnostics for about €450, then got clobbered with a bit of import duty which was about €48 if I remember correctly.

Ha. I need fixes this video does not, nor offer a way to fix. Lights go out on my air suspension control switch. WhY? I need to test the system, this IID Tool seems to only read ECU. Does not distinguish what system is working and or not.
