No I’ve not done one yet.

Next thing to do is email iid and ask for the untested ccf files

Enjoyed this one relating to the Gap11D. I have the basic icarsoft tool but does the gap tool offer diagnostics re the EGR and the sensors that go with it? In other words tell you what's wrong exactly when you get a DPF full on the dash. Mine came on and then disappeared after the use of the right foot but good to know if something needs replacing.

Are you able to use this to activate commandshift on 2010-2012 L322 models?

Commanshift? Is that to activate the paddles? I believe that you can do it with the IIDControl tool. But always best to check with Gap Diagnostics.

So is this device now locked to one model only, I found scan tools such as these are usually quite good, but to add any other Land Rover family it will cost you the original price of the device yet again, which becomes very expensive.

It will still read and clear codes on all land rovers, the locked to one car functions are suspension settings, CFC files and Ecu flashes etc.

What tool do you recommend for the 04 td6 ie changing suspension heights Dont want to send out on the gap if theres a cheaper alternative . Do you have e mail address ?

The Thinkcar diag2 had the option for changing the height, but I never tried it as I did mine using the GAP tool. Maybe try one through Amazon, and if it doesn't do the trick return it within the 30 days: amzn.to/3Lh2lUM

I thought that at first, it only locks the extra functions you can still read and clear codes on any Land Rover.

After watching you struggle with this and the fact I don't have a degree in computer science I think I won't be buying a Gap Diagnostic iiD T ool.
