Let's Learn English! Topic: Pain & Injuries 🤕 An English Lesson on Health Care and Medicine 🩹
In this English lesson I'll help you learn how to describe things that hurt. I'll help you learn how to describe things that just don't feel right with your body. This English lesson will be especially helpful before a visit to the doctor so that you can accurately explain your symptoms. It's always a good idea to be familiar with English health care and medicine vocabulary.
As you learn English it can be hard to find lessons on every topic. I have made it my goal as an English teacher on KZread to cover every single topic I can think of over the next few years. I think this English lesson about pain and injuries will be quite helpful for you!
I'll teach a lot more than just basic vocabulary. I'll also help you learn English phrases to describe how you hurt yourself, where it hurts, and more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about pain & injuries!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video two times. Once today with English subtitles off, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles on. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Thanks a lot about your great lesson My amazing teacher keep up the good work i have been learning more from you.
This reminds when I came to Canada, the first time and then I came in to the first class, everyone was focus in the class because I got late 3 2 minutes late. Then I got started to cough 😷, and the teacher was looking at me weird. I didn't feel well with my new teacher, she thought I got COVID, She was acting a little bit rude. She was overreacting !! 😢my bad experience in Canada. After that situation I just made my mind and I changed of classroom.

My knee started to hurt me on april 5, 2019 for a bad move. The pain was killing me. The doctor Oriented me to exercise the muscle over my knee to strenghten it. The muscle was week, so the bone in my knee moved to a bad possition, by streghtening the muscle the bone could return to the correct possition and the pain would go away. I did exercise with discipline and the pain dissapeared. I feel good now. Pls see a Doctor and follow his/her advice and I hope you get better and play football again.

@@silviaorozco6038 I'm happy to hear that. Sometimes an injury is simply because we've let some muscles get weak. It's awesome you could fix it just by strengthening those muscles. Awesome!

Hi teacher Bob . Thank you for the amazing lesson .It is very helpful . I wrote down some expressions to practise them later.Ha ha. You asked me to put a comment if you pronounce my name correctly. It was better than the first time . You are excused Bob because in English, you don't have the letter ح or خ or ظ . It is really hard for native speakers to pronounce these letters . Your way of pronouncing it is amazing and I love it . Yet I challenge you to pronouce the sound ح and خ correctly . Ha ha I am just pulling your leg.

I consider a muscle breakdown during the pandemic is the worst pain. The pain itself is already unbearable, being misdiagnosed as a Covid patient is worded. The medical term is Rhabdomyolysis

We say both. I could say, "I left my phone in the office." or "I left my phone at the office." Sometimes we can use two different prepositions and they have the same meaning.
