Greetings! I am Deepak from India. I have been watching all your tutorials for 6 months. I have improved my English speaking as well as writing skills. I love your teaching style. I am extremely sorry to disturb you, but I have a question on Passive Voice. If you made me understand, I would be happy. Question: I studied that Passive Voice is also used to describe the State/Stage/Condition/Status of an Object. Such as :- 1) I am tired 2) The window is cracked. 3) The computer is connected to the internet. 4) The food is overcooked. 5) The door was closed. 6) The floor was polished, These all describe the current state or condition of an object such as I, Window, Computer, Food and the door. I very well understand mentioned above examples. Now My doubts arise here as to why we did not use the "Opened" "Cleaned" verb Why we often say: 1) The door was "open" instead of "The door was "opend" 2) The floor was "clean" instead of "The floor was cleaned. Story Base :-"When I arrived home, the door was open. I entered the room and noticed that the floor was clean. After that, I went to the kitchen and looked at the window; it was broken."

@@deepakmethani8906 because these are completely different issues. In that story, 'open', 'clean' and 'broken' are adjectives, not verbs.

Great Marta! I'm happy there were a few new things here for you :) :)
Arnel, you definitely are the best teacher in American English. I gotta tell you something, in Mexico, we have a product called "Kanka" that is used to heal the mouth ulceras, now watching they also are called canker sore, I could finally realize, why this product is called this way (kind of british English, is it?). Anyway, great, great lesson. Thank you very much and hi from Mexico City!!! 😊❤🇲🇽

Hi Arnel. Thanks for your Videos it really helps me a lot. Btw Can you tell me what topic to do first and next to be a fluent speaker in a particular order?
Hi Arnel! Thanks very much. In Brazil, meny teachers don't like translation. I think important learning, independent methodology. I love your Channel...
Hi Arnel, I've been watching your videos for a while and I can tell that you have the vocation to teach, you could learn languages other than English and teach them on your channel, this will get you more subscribers.

Very Informative, please make a video on conjunctive adverse. These are so confusing.
thanks, that was great ma'am.
WOW Arnel 🌻 I really love your creativity to create unique videos using your own image as an animation. I loved the scene when you fell down because you were dizzy. These are my examples: 1. Having a blister after using new shoes is very painful. 2. I sometimes find rashes on my arm without any idea what insect bitten me. 3. I figured out that having a shoulder muscle contraction might cause a throbbing headache. I will leave the Spanish translation here: to have a headache: tener dolor de cabeza to have a throbbing headache: tener dolor punzante de cabeza. to have a splitting headache: tener un dolor de cabeza terrible to have a fever: tener fiebre to have a temperature: tener temperatura. to be dizzy: estar mareado to have ringing in your ears: tener zumbidos en los lidos to have pink eye: tener conjuntivitis to have conjunctivitis: tener conjuntivitis to have a cold: tener un resfriado to have a blocked nose: tener la nariz tapada to be congested: estar congestionado to have a runny nose: tener goteo nasal to sneeze: estornudar to cough: toser to have the flu: tener gripe to have a mouth ulcer: tener aftas o ulcers en la boca to have a canker sore: tener aftas o ulcers en la boca to have a toothache: tener dolor de muelas to have a cavity: tener una carie (to get a filling from the dentist) to have a sore throat: tener dolor de garganta to have a stiff neck: tener el cuello rígido to have shoulder pain : tener dolor de hombro to have asthma: tener asma to have high blood pressure: tener presión alta to have a stomachache: tener dolor de estómago to vomit: vomitar to throw up: vomitar to have nausea: tener nauseas to be nauseous: tener nauseas to have a rash: tener una erupción en la piel to have arthritis: tener artritis to have diarrhea: tener diarrea to be constipated: tener estreñimiento to have constipation: tener estreñimiento to have a cramp: tener un calambre to have a bruise: tener un moretón to be bruised: tener un moretón to twist an ankle: torcerse un tobillo to break a bone: quebrarse un hueso to have a swollen ankle: tener un tobillo inflamado to have swelling: tener inflamación to have a wart: tener una verruga to have a blister: tener una ampolla

Thank you, Arnell!! You know, it's curious, here in Peru I have heard that some people use the word "constipado" to describe themselves when they have a cold. However, in English there's a similar word "constipated" that means something completely different 😲 I will definitely stop using that word in Spanish to avoid misunderstandings🤭
