Hi KZread Family and Friends,
We will be making over some thrifted stools in the video. Using decoupage paper pieces that I had left over from another project. I also will be testing out Milk Paint for the first time.

Very cool! 🎉
I love all of these stools they are all beautiful.
So beautiful 😮
Gorgeous items, great to hear your tips and I appreciate you showing your "mishaps " as we all have them and it really helps us all out ❤ thoroughly enjoying your videos.
yeah i agree on the stencil. not good. but how these stools turned out are stunning. great job. i watch you channel non stop. keep it up.
Oh man! Makes me wanna have a bar but, I don't drink LOL They would fit any decor I think, they would really be a conversation starter. They are sharp.. Those won't last long either. God Bless. Hugs and prayers to both. Rebekah
I think you did great!!!! I just love the mirrored affect but I don’t think I I am steady enough and definitely not patient enough!!
I'm glad to see mistakes it shows me you really care.
Oh, how pretty you look! Thank you for sharing this-
❤😊😊😊
You are just so precious and genuine. I love that you are a lady of faith spreading good❤
Love those stools. Great job… hope people realize how much time and effort you put into them! ❤
Love all of these and how they turned out. I've never had good luck with the chippy finish with milk paint, but you made lemonade out of that lemon!

Jami Ray uses milk paint and she uses it directly on the piece snd not over already painted. She hardly ever sands her pieces either. It chips real good and she globs it on and is a very fast painter and just puts it on. Sometimes it chips off to much but she doesn't ever go over it again
That stool with iron base is an oldie but goodie...
I really find your srtipes far better than those stencil ones. I love this poor chippy stool.

You can add less water to the milk paint to make it thicker. It's a learning curve for sure.

Stools turned out amazing!!
When I stenciled many years ago a tip I would have for you is the stiffer the brush the less bleed through so as my brush wore down i would use masking tape and tape around the brush to keep the bristles tight just a little hack that helped me and bouncing with small circles for better control

Oh.. thank you for sharing that tip.
Love the square decoupage stool with the steer on it!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Wow!!!!! They all turned out gorgeous in my eyes!!!! My favourite was definitely the round swivel one. And just an fyi. I just got the grain sack strips too and I found you have to do the pounce technique rather than the swirl. Hope that helps!!! Excellent job as always!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

I love when you use the tape to do your lines. It seems to be easier to work for someone like me that is iffy in the first place to try this. Thank you for sharing different options to do a project. I am loving everything.

I watched a couple of people who were stenciling furniture say if you spray some clear coat or Polyacrylic on the stencil or under it to keep from bleeding. I'm sorry I don't remember the details. I intend to research it again but just a tip. Another tip is to spray the back of decoupage paper lightly with clear coat. I saw the decoupage tip on Flea Market Rescue. I've tried it on tissue paper, napkins, and scrapbook paper so far.
I love them all. You are so talented.
you are always inspirational thank you the rectangular stool is my favorite

Beautiful
The stools are awesome! There's a product called pixie spray that you spray on the back of stencils to make them stick but be removable. Might be useful to you for projects like this.
Omygoodness! I love them all, even the milk paint one. And I love going through the process with you, so we see what happens when you put this with that. We get to find out what works and what does not work. But, as I said I love every one of these stools. My favorite is the swivel stool, gorgeous! Second favorite is the saddle seat stool, it has my name on it! Great work guys! Take care! xx

You are so funny "Not really, I don't even know what the process is". That cracked me up. That was a lot of work on that little white stool. I love that you don't give up. I would have repainted it or thrown it into the burn pile (I'll bet you guys have one). Your video's have inspired me so very much. I've been told "you just don't see stuff like yours. Everything is the same out there". Thank you so much, Yvonne for giving me ideas, coaching and mentoring!!
Loved the stools, each one was different but great. My favorite was the one with the decoupage paper.

Ok so I just have to say I think those stencils didn't do the grain sac strips as well as you normally do them with the tape. Maybe so repositionable spray adhesive would help.

Well I dont know anything about milk paint. I have never wanted to try it. But I think that stool will be the first to sell! Its beautiful 😍 I know you put a lot of work into it, but it was worth it. I love them all but my favorite is the stained top and black bottom, but they all are beautiful and the decopodge looks like its been on them for ever. You are an awesome crafter and artist. Everything you do turned out beautifully and its because you keep going you dont give up on it. Love it. Have a blessed week. Ps, I love your hair up, your beautiful 😍

I love these stools! And the one with the curved legs. Wow! I love what you did! The decoupage with the cow head! I can’t pick a favorite. I have started learning grain stripes with your masking tape methods and have had very good luck with it. You’re a great teacher! I do have Jami’s grain sack stencils. They do work beautifully, but for me, I pounce with those, not swirl. And a very very VERY dry brush and pounce hard and fast. It’s a workout. But I’ve never had bleed through. The downside compared to your masking tape method is you’re limited in size and design and can’t go around edges like I often want. At least not easily. Love how your white stool turned out. I’m learning milk paint too. Sweet Pickens does have something called “extra bond” to add to your milk paint that will slow down your chippy-ness or lessen it depending on how much you add to your paint. There’s a learning curve and I’m still in it. But I love the silky feeling of real milk paint so that’s my carrot at the end of the stick to master it! I’ve followed you for quite a long time and try never to miss a video! I’m so happy you have retired because your ideas are wonderful and the more videos you make the better for all of us! Can’t wait to see what is next!
