Coming back to the hobby last year, the KZread community has been great. Midlife sports cards is my main haunt, amongst others. I just wandered into your vintage basketball card video.. Now I reckon I'll haunt the chat here too lol.

growing up in Europe the only sports colletibles we had as kids where soccer stickers. Problem is we all but them in little albums, so in a sense of value, they are worthless today. I followed the NBA and NFl since the late 80s. Never came to my mind that the players have sports cards, nor rookie cards. So, getting deeper into the NFL, hearng about sports trading cards in a podcast, I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a rookie auto of Justin Jefferson. Wasn't the only card I bought, though. And now after hundreds of cards, bought, collected or flipped I am still in.

That's awesome. Do you feel there's been a growth in interest in the hobby in Europe in general in the last few years? Are stickers still popular now or is that more of an in the past thing?

@@scoa there is, but it is more focused on soccer cards. american football is getting popular throughout the las 10yrs or so. Basketball as well with a pretty bunch of European players in the NBA. But it will take time to really establish a collector base.
