Thanks I appreciate that. Never did figure out the issue. I still have it. Maybe I’ll revisit it at some point and see if more experience helps me pin point the problem.

Hi there! Two mini-advices if I may :D 1) It'll be easier for you to clean using a toothbrush instead of a qtip, because the qtip can't reach some places, will bump into everything, and leave some threads around. 2) It would be nice to have a miniature of the pinout of the mosfet on a corner when you were checking them, or to have a bit more context about what are those actually doing. Thanks for trying man. I got one with clean inside but wont turn on. I see white residue on the back of the board could be liquid. But dont have knowledge to find out what is going on. Power supply is working. When plugged in Fan should move a tiny bit which is not hapenning.

The mosfets are all coming back 0.6 in my case. The resistors along the bottom are all around 3ohms. The internals and board were very dusty (REALLY bad...) when I opened the case. This one died after just 1yr from release. The board looks good w/ no visible corrosion (though my magnifying glass isn't as powerful as yours. I didn't check the lights when I plugged it in so that I can't tell you anything until I put it back together. No power. No beeps. Any ideas?

If you know the power supply is working, then I would suspect that there's a short on one of the power rails on the board.

Maybe it's something you've already tested, but does the orange light stay on on the power brick? I have no power to mine, but I think the issue is the power brick because the orange light comes on then dies out instantly when connected to mains which suggests faulty power supply. I opened up my power brick and found leaky capacitors which is apparently a known issue with these first generation Xbox Ones. I'm going to replace the capacitors on mine which should hopefully fix the issue! Good luck with yours. I enjoyed watching you go through troubleshooting the board and hope to one day have enough knowledge to be able to perform the same kind of troubleshooting.

Thanks for the comment! I used a known good power supply but that’s a great place to start. Like you said the light might come on at first and then fade out once connected. A short on the board can also make the light turn off since it’s trying to protect itself. Hopefully the leaky capacitors didn’t make too much of a mess for you. Good luck on fixing it and take care when working on the power supply!

My Xbox one has an orange light on the power brick and the power button and disc eject isn’t working. Do you think it’s just the power brick or something else?

When you plug the power brick in does the light turn from orange to white at all? If the brick has light but the console doesn't respond at all when you try to turn it on, it's most likely something within the console. If no light, no beeps I would suspect the same mosfets I tested in the video that power the 12v rail.

Where dou buy small size 8334 mosfet from I got5×6 size from farnell I think the size is 3×3 m

I buy most of my components from Aliexpress. You might be able to find that size on eBay but it’ll cost more than Aliexpress. Only problem with Aliexpress is the shipping time but if that’s not an issue then it’s worth a look.

I literally unattached the side panel easily put it on the side and it came on ...thanks otherwise I would have just bought a new one like a month later the top of the line of course

Do you mean the outer shell or the connectors for disc drive, hard drive, etc.? The outer shell is a real pia.

Yeah I got it took awhile though
