The dead body found in the ending is actually Larry's, not the protagonists. If you look closely, the area in the park where the body is buried is the very place you find "Larry" for the first time. The first level, with the bench. He literally chilled where he murdered the poor guy. Edit: Since some people don't seem to understand: Larry is dead. The guy we follow through the game is Willy Mack, the serial killer, who murdered Larry and took his face as a mask.

He did not murder the guy in the park because in the first part where the game gets dark you can see that there's a dead body with police around it that looks really identical to the real larry so im guessing he murdered larry in the city then when the body was found after the police left he chopped it up and buried it in the park

I just realized that when the private investigator shows the player the newspaper, Larry's picture shows him with an earring and somewhat different teeth ( although the teeth may just look different because of the art style). When we see "Larry", he has no earring and straighter looking teeth, which is a clever bit of foreshadowing.

He also lacks the hair, meaning that Larry was bald. This does get contradicted a couple times I think. But overall, Larry is supposed to be bald and the hair is Willy’s.

Well its good to know that its gonna be an option now.

The things I notice are : - After the first time the investigator appear in the bottom right of the screen, he is part of every map, often near Larry. The dark figure were always in altitude as to see better. - In the level with cars, Larry is easily identifiable because he is the only vehicle just before a black car that doesn't show who drive it, contrary to any others cars. - Maybe it's just me, but I find the face of Larry off at time, in particular around his mouth. At first, I just thought it was the art style, but after the ending I think it was a way to show he was wearing a face. - In one of the supermarket level, Larry hide in a mask shop. - In the last supermarket level, Larry is in a red car exposed in the center. Later, we see him driving a red car, I think that insinuate that he stole that vehicle. - I find Larry quite manipulative too, in the scene where he cries, he put his hand as to see from one eye. It looks like he check the reaction of the player. - While the investigator doesn't explain much about why he chases Larry, we can guess that he made some enemies, probably doing something illegal, like double down a gang or something. But when we talk to Larry, he talked about a sob story that doesn't fit why he is chased at all. - That it's just a hypothesis, but at the start, Willy see Larry and comment it's a sunny day. At the end of the game, the weather announces sunny days everywhere, I think it's a way to announce the return of Willy crime all around now that he is out somewhere. There is no real reason to add that scene otherwise, it could have ended after the daily men explain everything.

I like to think that we were playing as Tom (The weather man at the end) and when Willy killed him he had to pretend to be him to not draw any suspicions for awhile…I also find it funny how he hates doing it…He’s just standing there thinking to himself “Man…this guy’s life sucks….” 😂

i believe he killed the protagonist stole his face. meaning the protagonist is tom. and tom had a weather job before this the reason: pro/tom was last with willy before he died meaning he was killed by willy. why would willy go out of his way when he has a perfect corpse in front of him. not to mention the devs won’t be stupid and make the community left confused

I think he is the weather guy and that's why he doesn't respond to the name "Tom" at first since he isn't used to being called that yet.

If you think appropriately, or hard enough, things are weird from the very first level, or at least, once Larry says "it's a beautiful day, isn't it ?". Let me explain. Findo sees his good old friend Larry, yet he runs away from him. He doesn't ask who Findo is, or tells him to fu*k off. He just... runs. "Why ?" Should be the only question, but hey, it's a game based on Where Is Waldo, so nothing too weird... But then you find him again, tells you "it's a beautiful day, isn't it ?" And, once again, runs away. Why ? If Larry is your old friend, and is so good to others, he shouldn't just run away. The last clue is the uncanny resemblance of Larry's eyes, and Willy Mack's eyes on the wanted posters, mostly their placements and how wide they are. Also, someone pointed that there are red dots and small red stripes on Larry's face at certain moments, a feature no other character has, and how his teeth look small compared to other characters, indicating that there is something very weird with Larry when compared to everyone else.

that black car crashing into him to try and kill him is quite out of pocket xD they make it pretty obvious he crashed cause you spotted him, and the black car is just following him. based on the motives revealed at the end of the game, they wouldn't want to just kill him without confrontation.

I love the premise of this game; a mysterious, presumably criminal organization pursuing a seemingly innocent person, only for the twist to be that the innocent person is actually the villain and the pursuers are vigilantes (probably loved ones of previous victims).

The Korean movie "Forgotten" gets pretty close to this premise.

The way I see it, "Larry" here isn't just some supernatural lifeform, he's a literal godslayer. I mean, according to Findo, our player character can "spin the whole world", and if that's not a godlike power, I dunno what is; and yet he's able to get us off our literal high horse and kill us like it's nothing? That's some godslayer shit right there.

"Larry" vs. Kratos

I have a theory that the private investigator is actually a family member of Willy Mack. Towards the last section, where he's confronting Willy Mack, they mention that the day Willy was sentenced to prison was his 'worst day of his life' because he never could have never imagined being the one that kills him. That part felt more than personal and seems as if he has known Willy Mack for a very long time and had lots of respect for him in the past. Perhaps the investigator is his brother, or a childhood friend, and felt the need to personally take him down.

I think Willy Mack wasn't finished with hiding the body. that's why he ran. Also kinda explains the police finding it and possibly the private investigator finding it first, which confirms his suspicion that Larry is willy mack

Had a big issue with how Willy was able to survive those gunshots and falling off a cliff, as well as somehow evade all of the other men surrounding him while stabbing the beanie guy to death. Even more upset that that's the only ending for now.

I guess the message of the story is that you should always be careful when you are to trust somebody, even the person that seems very cloose to you. Can be someone that you mightnot even know. It's difficult but it's sometimes true... One thing that I can be certain is that global warming is real, because I see droughts in places I have not been before. My friend experienced a wildfire incident and is struggling because of it... things are getting tough. And we need to do something about it. I have also heard about this thing called ocean acidification, the ocean's acidity is killing marine animals and will eventually be harmful to us as well(no wonder I am panicking about this.)

Oh now it make sense, the murder didn't know who the player is, remember that, in the beginning, Larry was a good friend of the MC, they knew each other, but then Larry start questioning why you are following him and call you a stalker. If you were to find your friend in the park, and they were to walk with you, you wouldn't call them a "Stalker"

So chill and make these videos fun to listen to

Also Before going to the last level, the screen kinda shows the other agents, all of them dead

Personally I wish the game continued with the angle of “singling out a good person and making their life hell” instead of the serial killer story, because I think it’s a lot more unique, though I’m okay with what happened in the story

If Larry did die then he might be a banshee but a banshee only targets one person at a time but he is definitely and probably is, probably a ghost and if so then that would explain his ghostley appearance and unnatural abilities.

It would be badass if one of the endings is basically the same but with a twist The guy that got killed with his face sliced off was actually Willy mack, the protagonist gave Willy Mack the same treatment as his friend Larry Or it turns out the protagonist was another Infamous serial killer that has some kind of "territorial behavior" and he just wanted to kill Willy Mack just because hes in his turf

I really like it's dark theme and gameplay mechanics.😀 At first it looked fun kids game like "Where's Waldo" point and click game, but turned out to be gore and thriller game 😧

I love how he tried to turn his body camera away, giving the security cam a real clear view of the word “POLICE”.

If u didnt know, the guy trying to larry is also an npc in the other maps, like when larry hid in the car in the mall, u can see the guy right next to larry Edit:and also, when the guy trying to find larry shows us the news paper, in the picture, larry has no hair, and if u can see from the fake larry, he has hair, and if u look closely up to willy mack, he has hair.(a little bit...)

Whenever I see media of this genre my brain flashbacks to that one episode of Mythbusters when they tried doing the fake mask thing

I just realized that when Larry takes out the protagonist, he uses his identity and becomes the weather reporter. The reporter quickly mentions he hates his job then seems to snap into some character. He also says something very similar to Larry’s famous line “it’s a beautiful day isn’t it?”

They give these serial killers so much plot armor so they can keep coming back for sequels. I call it the micheal myers effect.

An interesting detail (which may or not be on purpose) is that when you get the image of Larry (the real one) he clearly has two highly noticeable palets in his upper row of teeth, which the fake Larry doesn't have, and I mention it because early on we get to see Mack's teeth, and they look nothing alike, so that's something I found rather interesting and a very cool detail if it was in purpose

He reminds me of Jane Doe/Copper head from the Batman comics

i hope they make dlc for the game it would be cool to see a more detailed look into wily mack's first murder spree.the game was so short and i cant wait to see more

I want to think that there may be a sequel, especially when Findo (the tutorial dude) exists, and not murdered, and finds like another protagonist to continue looking for Willie Mack disguising as a friend of Larry (a.k.a. the previous protagonist)... Wouldn't it be an awesome extension?

If Larry is supernatural than why was he soo afraid of people following him Was it his act of being “Larry” or did he just want to live a normal life and the protagonist started to bring attention to him?

I dont know. Maybe its not true but in the game we heard multiple times that the weather is good and i think that the protagonist is the guy in the ending video. Just think about it. The protagonist talk about the weather multiple times. Mack usually steal the others face and we know the protagonist died. Maybe Mack steal the protagonist face and try to discuse himself again as a guy from the news who talk about the weather. Thats means that the protagonist is meterologist. If this isnt the case why the creator of the game put on this scene? Its just a mith but make sense! 10:43 10:43

I don't know if anybody noticed but in the level where Larry is hiding somewhere inside the mall, there is an Easter egg of a store being named "around the fur." It's a deftones song that has a message that tells us that even though a fur coat may look beautiful on the outside, it is ugly and dead on the inside. I find it foreshadowing considering that Larry is a good guy on the outside but a serial killer on the inside.

Anyone noticed that the pic of larry on the newspaper is bald unlike the willy mack version who have some tuff of hair

If you look around during when you can see the crine scene, you can actually see a body with its face removed, meaning this could be Mack's other attempt at impersonating somebody or that is Larry's body after Mack killed him and stole his face

i don't think it's larry's body. as someone else pointed out in the comment sections for this video, we first find mack at the same park where the body in the cutscene after he kills the player is found. the body could be larry's
