Atok, Benguet still looks great! Though we held our monthly Provincial Conferences during our PACD/DLGCD/DILG days in the 1960s at La Trinidad we never had the chance to visit Atok. How great it would have been if we went there too! Mabuhay!

Baguio is so beautiful country side…kanya lang May madami pa din dapat baguhin…buildings baguhin para mas aka kit akit…Rebuild to a new one…dami ..I hope 20 years from now , it will be look like Singapore ..building so much beauty alone…plus with mountains..build new system of electrical wiring…para Di masakit sa mata…I hope our gov. Can see it… but all alone progresibo na tlga..wow..

Baguio is not a country side. Its in the center of the mountainous of luzon island.

Malamig sa Benguet sa Umaga, Gabi at hapon. 16C siya. Galing kami Dyan Nung April 12 2024. Ang nakakalungkot nasisira na yung kagubatan ng pine trees. Panay Bato at tuyong damo ang makikita. Sana itanim sa kabundukan ng Benguet ay yellow bamboo at kakawate o madre cacao. Nagpapababa sila ng temperature sa katanghalian. At Nagpapataba ng Lupa ang mga dahon Nila. .

It will be more attractive if they will clean all the hanging trampolines and cheap signboards ( require nicer signboards to every stores ) and do something about those electrical wiring hanging everywhere (Sore eye).

Last time akong napadaan sa Atok Benguet ay 1977. Rough road pa lang ang daanan. Hindi sementado o aspaltado. After the long travel punong puno ka ng alikabok. Hindi pa tourist destination ang lugar. Ginawa lang daan dahill sa mga multi-national mining companies sa Mountain Province.

Tinda nila yun. Nasubukan mo ng nag alaga ng manok? Nakakita ka na ng manok pag uwi nila sa gabi? Siksikan talga sila. Panabong na manok lang ang tig isa ang bahay dahil libo bayad nun. Pati bibi siksikan din. Baka at kambing ganun din lalao na pag atg ulan to keep themseleves warm. Ewan ko kung anong itawag ko sa iyo. Kunyari lang, ignorante, or kunyari animal lover pero nag uulam ng manok.

Daming daan na papunta dun. Kung may motor ka e sa ifugao ka dadaan papuntang highest point of philippine highways to atok benguet. Pwede din sa bambang nueva vizcaya to kayapa to atok benguet. Pwede din sa pangasinan-baguio-atok.

Some part of Baguio walang improvement ilang dekada na kaya Ang mga Buildings na yan at Ang wire ng kuryente kumpulkumpol Ang pangit tingnan,Ang maganda lang sa Baguio hindi gaano kainit pero sa mga surroundings walang pinagbago...

ang pangit pala nang lugar na yan,ibig kong sabihin yung mga structures parang tondo o squater,sayang...parang walang bldg permit mga itinayong structures,parang walang gobyerno sa lugar

The buildings and houses have weathered storms. They are not fancy but owners are millionaires. Step on the terrain. Atok has a govt sir. Go and visit houses and observe the culture. It is incomparable to Tondo. Plus, make friends and they will offer free coffee, camote and pinikpikan. Can Tondo do this?

You mean to say that you don't see any Shacks/barong-barong like those that you commonly see in the lowlands!? Lol! As usual another Insecure person without anything to take pride but only the natural beauty of the Philippines like beaches & just adding the few left Spanish built structures to show off because their villages/communities are built w/ very poor standard, nothing interesting & very embarrassing. While Towns/Communities in the Cordilleras are the nicest w/ most people having their homes well built/sturdy w/ better standard & even nicer than those in the metro Manila areas, nearby/surrounding provinces that are even into & near the FINANCIAL Center. what a shame. Try me & I'll give you more on your face real talk!!!
