Sure is. Curtis Mayfield should have Won an Oscar for this Score. Did you know that Jayne's Ex Husband Leon Isaac Kennedy helped Smokey Robinson get over his drug addiction by taking him to a Church where The Minister a Recovering Addict and Alcoholic held him in her arms and her feeling him was so powerful he felt as if an electric shock purged the toxins from his body.
Yes she was. One of the best pair of legs scene in any movie. Damn she was fine!

I remember seeing this movie at one of the theaters on Jamaica Ave in Queens NY. Me and my friends caught the matinee and when we came out there were people lined up around the block for the evening show! I have never forgotten that!

I love the song so of course, I *had* to see the movie. I'd forgotten what it was about. (I'd gotten mugged at an ATM a couple years after I saw this, hit over the head, so memories faded.) I remember Bill and Sidney, but it's just like a whiff of "memory lane!"

Cosby uses his friend Poitier's knowledge of hypnosis to put the whammy on a weakling boxer so he can win a match that they've bet heavily on with some New Orleans hoods. They win big and use the money to save their lodge until the rematch is announced and the hoods show up to make them an offer they can't refuse. Funny film with a lot of black actors you never saw as funny

In it's own way you saw how much things had changed even though it was 1975. Ten Years Ago "Jayne" wouldn't have been able to have a Job like a Secretary. Also If the guys did now what they did then it would have been called Sexual Harassment. What she wore wouldn't have been allowed today.
