She looks washed up. Jayne was a beautiful Ohio Lady! She looks old, and could not be a: Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford, Yasmeen Ghauri,Veronica Webb, Jennifer Lopez or Christy Turlington. Models and Actresses live for the camera ( the women above put the V in Vain). Jayne Kennedy is and was a real person!

As a little girl. I thought she was beautiful and strong. I wanted to be like her. Wonderful to see her well, still gorgeous and classy!

Beyond her natural beauty, Jayne is so humble and has such class. She seems so unaware of how much she's appreciated and adored.

She was not just stunning but intelligent. I remember her coming up when I was a teenager. She is Black History.

If you're older like me you really miss interviews like this. A professional interview between 2 intelligent sisters with mutual respect.

She was the guest speaker at Grambling my freshman year and I remember being so excited to meet her she is such a beautiful person and she has aged so gracefully.

Pat Harvey you did a wonderful interview with Ms. Jayne Kennedy.

It's funny how Oprah Winfrey dedicated a whole show about how she was motivated and inspired by Mary Tyler Moore (A Fake TV Journalist), but I don't recall her ever acknowledging this drop dead gorgeous, beautiful & talented REAL JOURNALIST right here. I, as well as every other young black girl, grew up watching and admiring Mrs. Jane, so I'm glad she is finally getting her just-do because it's long overdue 🙌💕

What an ignorant comment tainted with racism! 1. It's normal to be inspired by TV characters or shows. 2. Jayne and Oprah are close in age, so she didn't grow up being influence by Jayne Kennedy. Oprah was already in journalism by then 3. Mary Tyler Moore is OLDER than Oprah, so she was influenced by her as a child. 4. There were maybe TWO women on TV that had careers outside of the home at that time. It was a brave and risky move for Mary to take on that role 5. Many of us little black girls and women were inspired by the Mary Tyler Moore Show. We weren't hyper focused on her race. So you need to need to have a several seats!

Oh my God! She is still as beautiful as ever! So glad the she is finally being recognized. She will forever be one of the most beautiful women ever!

Haven't seen Jayne in years! The weekly Jet magazine was a staple in our home when I was growing up in the 70s and Jayne was featured quite often. Jayne is just as beautiful today as she was 50 years ago! I couldn't help but notice the slight tremors during the interview and hope her health is okay. 💯

When my sister and I were little girls, we would always describe how pretty someone was by the metric of Jayne Kennedy. She was so pretty…like Jane Kennedy! 🤣 We also loved how classy she was. Her style was like our mother’s…very nicely dressed, hair always done etc. I’m so very happy to see her happy and thriving. Many continued blessings to her and her family. What a trailblazer!!! 🏆🙏🏾💯

What a revelation in life to see Jayne Kennedy do sports commentary with such flair and depth in the football arena. Too see her eloquently discuss the game and for so many reasons bring in new fans . Seeing a Black person of color and a female commentator holding her own showed how impactful your contribution can be if excellence is your calling card.

That's what you call, aging gracefully! She looks good and she's still proud to be black!

I've always loved Jayne!! I'm from Ohio too, and grew up watching her on TV. Not only is she utterly gorgeous, it's her voice and her energy that is so beautiful. I love you Jayne! You are as beautiful and fabulous as ever. Bless you!

I grew up watching Jayne. She's just as beautiful as ever today! I just love this gorgeous, smart lady who's a true trailblazer.

Jayne Kennedy was my childhood crush. Glad she is doing well and still fine as hell. Words can not express how significant it was seeing her on TV at that time. It was important for women, for Blacks, and more directly, for Black women. I want to thank her. Because I know it was not easy, but she did it with excellence, grace and dignity.

I always loved Jayne Kennedy-Overton. I was a very young girl bout 9-10 seeing her in TV. She was a trailblazer back then as she is now. Beautiful Black Queen and thank you for giving Mrs. Overton her flowers she truly truly deserves them. 😊❤

We still love her, may God bless her and her daughters.

When I think of Jane Kennedy I think of role model before social media, Mos Def shout out on his song and overall groundbreaker in sports. I'm glad you were given your flowers for all to celebrate.

I absolutely adored Jayne Kennedy when she was young and possessed extraordinary great beauty. In this interview I noticed something that saddened me and that is I noticed Jayne seemed to have trimmers and jerkey type movements. Is she ill I wonder? May God bless her❤❤

Listen, I remember this lady. SHE WAS & IS STILL A TRAILBLAZER!!! She knew more about sports than the men! Not only that, but as the FIRST BLACK FEMALE SPORTSCASTER! My, my, how far we have come when it comes to the sports reporting industry!!
