The Bottega Veneta Designer Bags are duped everywhere, however, why not thrift flip one from some upcycled materials. In my diy designer bag dupe tutorial I will use the remainders of an old puffer coat to make this diy puffer bag. I also I took some artistic freedom in the measurements as I only had two old sleeves from my puffer coat to work with. Allthough the Bottega Bag has a beautiful luxurious appeal to it, the zipper in the bottom is really unfortunate when we are talking about a high end designer bag with that pricetag. That is why we are gonna imitate the handbag from Nanushka. The Jen Bag is opening in the top and has a much more logical design. It is a bit of a twist on the original design (pun intended this time), an autumn version of the bottega veneta twist bag, as this is a trendy quilted bag and will be a great finishing touch for your aw 21 21 wardrobe. Puffer bags are hot, and rather easy to make yourself once you have seen me making all the mistakes. Make your own DIY Bottega Veneta bag in a sustainable way, choose a material that you like and start sewing! You can skip the pattern if you are like me but ofcourse drawing a pattern and making a sample first are also an option. Let me know what you thing ot this handbag dupe tutorial and which diy handbag tutorial
Pillow bags and puffer accessoires are really trendy. Sewing them is fun. Making a bag from quilted materials or with any other puffer filling is a little harder to manage under the sewing machine though! That is why I stitched the filling on top of the seam allowance to prevent it from moving whilst sewing the bag. If you have any other tips to make this diy bag tutorial more complete, please let me know.

Ripping off designer clothes... shamelessly because well upcycling!
These DIY refashion projects can usually be done on the sewing machine, serger or overlocker but also there will be options without sewing.
DIY designer rip off fashion. Runway fashion is fun, Designer pieces are nice to collect but let's be honest: You need a big wallet and how sustainable and ethical are these clothes really? (Hint: As opposed to popular believe, not much more sustainable than fast fashion!). These are just a few of the reasons to make your own DIY designer knock off. Making designer clothes DIY style is very rewarding because you can create a unique look for the fraction of the price. In my videos, for the entertainment value I try to replicate designer clothes as well as possible but making diy designer inspired clothes and giving your own twist on it is often even more rewarding. Ripping of designer clothes can often be easier than you think, finding the most suitable old / second hand garment to work with is often key! if the garment is already of a nice fabric/cut/overall quality but sometimes you can also make trash into couture. I hope you will have fun recreating designer looks!
One thing is certain, making designer fashion DIY style at home will make your reworked wardrobe so much more sustainable, affordable and unique! #twistbag #jenbag #bottegaveneta #nanushka #thriftflip #diydesignerbag
