@valsballoonsandbusiness
2 жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for watching! I make my backdrops out of Wood and secure them with cinder blocks in the back. The fabric ones that you can assemble yourself are pretty expensive.. You can get them off of sites like ubackdrop.com. A less expensive option would be to buy a thick 8 by 4 ft insulation Styrofoam panel from home depot, and cut out a backdrop from that. You can then attach some peel and stick In a design of your choice. This works best if you have a party that's inside and not out in the elements.
How do you get that mate effect on the balloons? It looks so pretty like that without shine
@valsballoonsandbusiness

Thank you. Balloons naturally oxidize outside so just leave your balloons outside and they will turn matte. Balloon shine is used to restore the shine after they oxidized.

@valsballoonsandbusiness

Do you paint the chiara walls for every event? Do you paint on top of previous paint?
@valsballoonsandbusiness
Жыл бұрын
With the wood walls, you can repaint. I would use white paint as a primer and then paint the new color on that. Now, I use a collapsible arch frame and just buy different colored stretch coverings for my chiara walls. It's cheaper, convenient, and less time-consuming
Well, I ordered some balloon garland kits from Amazon, and I couldn’t get the double stuffed balloons to inflate with the electric pump I purchased. Any thoughts about what I’m doing wrong? The kits came with positive reviews.
@valsballoonsandbusiness

@valsballoonsandbusiness
Жыл бұрын
Hello. I believe I know what you're referring to. You're gonna have to twist the balloons around to cover gaps and 'tighten' the garland up. You should also double twist the balloons into the clusters to make sure they are tight. If you find the 260q method better for you, by all means, use it. Hope this helps 😊
@solonka11
Жыл бұрын
I think it just tie them wrong.. or overinflate the balloons..
@solonka11
Жыл бұрын
Instead of leaving “enough” of of space when I tie the cluster of 2 i stretch it so that the ties go closer to each other. Hence the spacing I guess?
@valsballoonsandbusiness
Жыл бұрын
@@solonka11 I apologize but I'm still a bit confused. So you tie your clusters together by the necks of the balloons and not with a 260q correct? And yes, if you overinflate the balloons and do not round them out, the Cone like shape of the balloons will naturally create gaps. And again make sure you twist the balloons tightly in each cluster.

Hello. Honestly, I don't remember what size the lettering was. The font I believe was Hey Marilyn
What paint did you use for the arch panel?

Hello. I just bought a gallon of exterior prime and paint. You can also use spray paint, peel and stick wallpaper or drape a piece of fabric over the wall and tie it in the back. The gallon of lasts a long time because the wall is not that big so you can paint over it several times before the paint runs out.
What do you tie them with? Do you just make a knot?

Hello. I'm not sure what you're referring to. I tie the balloons together by the necks, twist them into clusters, then used 260q (the skinny balloons you make balloon animals out of) to connect the clusters. Thanks for watching 😊
Hey, I didn’t understand what do you use to tie the balloons?

Hello. I used a 260q balloons to tie the balloon clusters together into the garland and to attach it to the walls and add on clusters. 260q balloons are the long stretchy balloons that you make balloon animals out of.
what color paint did you use in your backdrop
