Let's Build A Model From 1300 Parts 😱 BMR-3M From Meng in 1/35 Scale

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

My friends, we're finally NOT building a tank! It's not an airplane though... it's an armored mine-clearing vehicle, and it still has tracks because those are always cool. It's one of the more recent Meng releases and it's an almost perfect kit, the amount of details you get straight from the box is unbelievable! It looks like there's no photoetched aftermarket set available for this model, which is totally fine, it's not like the kit needs any radical improvements! 1300 parts is enough to get anyone busy for several evenings and if you're into modern armor, it's well worth getting one yourself!

@@NightShiftScaleModels Dear Mr. Night Shift , I really enjoy watching your videos , I find your narrative fun to listen to Anyway , I would like to share one of my techniques for chipping , I have many more for photoetch , texture and coloring that I would like to share with all modelers , only not the time to devout to my own channel perhaps you could try these and do a video ? Hmm , Chipping , you need a piece of scrap styrene , diluted white glue and silver leaf , not foil paint a light coat of glue on the styrene , allow to dry until tacky , then lay the leaf on top , Don't worry about the wrinkles , with your bare index finger start tapping the leaf , you will notice tiny flakes build up on your finger , then just go tap your finger on the grab hooks , edge's , what ever , You need to experiment tapping the leaf to make smaller or larger flakes as desired , I have tried other tools beside my finger , a brush quickly gums up at the tip , sticks don't transfer well after you have chipped you can do a light burnish to seat the flakes , Hope you try this

I loved the tracks on the Meng BMPT kit. If you cut the main track parts with a scalpel at the correct angle there is almost no cleanup required. Same for the central guide horn parts. The outer parts are rubber and have their sprue gates on the inside, so cleanup is pretty much no visual factor at all. For an injection molded kit this is pretty amazing.
