I like how you consistently acknowledge the people who may be struggling. I printed out the major and minor triads and I have to just insert a new shape everyday to cement it in my brain.. Other instructors who don't acknowledge the stragglers usually get only half their video watched as it can get frustrating.. Another great lesson..

To make sure I understood - using the G chord in the first little jam… what you were getting at is that you played 3 different G Maj chords for 4 beats. BUT because the highest string was either the root (position 1 high e string), the 3rd (position 2 [the open d shape]) and then the 5th position 3, then back to the 2nd position - the 3rd of G on the high e string, our ear hears that changing melody the notes G, B, C# even though in the band context you just played 4 beats of G… just in different inversions. I even think I “heard that”… or am I like missing the point…?

Bingo - great breakdown! Triads, used like this are chords + melody in one swoop🤺
