Also suggestion from a new mom here🖐️ (not sure if you're into these but): you could never go wrong with a good linen maxi/midi skirt. It would tie in with your crop tops perfectly! And you could also use it during fall with some docs, and layer it. You look amazing Sarah. 😍

For the people who don’t want to dye them every now and then - do a permanent micro blading, that was the best spent money and decision in my life I swear 😅 about five years have passed and I’m still super happy !

Cutting my hair off was one of the first things I did after I had my son. Literally felt like weight lifted off my shoulders and I finally felt like myself again. You look great Sarah, Fern's words of encouragement are so adorable.

As another mama, I just want to say how proud you should be of yourself and how proud I am of you. Taking care of yourself is such a struggle for new moms, especially new moms and as someone who it took years to find myself again, I am super proud of you. Your hair cut is SO damn cute and I love the way you style it, even before styling it with makeup and clothes, it's giving 2000's vibes and I am obsessed. I love your glow up! You look great and you look happy and that's what truly matters. I think the hair was my favorite! I think it looks like a shot of overall energy into you. :) My very simplified makeup routine is as follows: sunscreen always, a little powder on my cheeks, blush, double mascara and a fun lip color. I wear funky glasses basically everyday so I don't do much with my eyes anymore and I have yet to find a concealer/foundation combo that looks good on me, no matter what I start with, it always looks like garbage, so I just skip it. My staples for clothes are either skirt and a graphic tee shirt, or a dress, depending on the weather with a cardigan. I have also really gotten into layering dresses over each other, so button up or wrap dresses over shorter dresses has been my obsession (I blame the cute wrap dress I found in Paris that doesn't fit as a wrap, but looks hell cute with other dresses) all with bike shorts underneath. I also have to combat with the weather and not overheat.

Not a mom, but I have also been trying to prioritize my self care! You inspired me to chop off my hair I’ve been growing out since quarantine lol. Love the content Sarah and your hair is fabulous!!

I LOVE hearing Fern in the background! Such a little cutie 🥰 And I love seeing new moms find themselves again! Being a mom to a baby is like being on a roller coaster while tripping on acid! Hardest time of my life both times I had babies in my household! One day very soon you will spend 30 min putting your makeup on and wonder what your child has been up to…then go and find her and she’s playing quietly ☺️ Just happened to me this morning! I was so shocked that my house was still in tact 😂 It gets better, my love. It gets so so so much better ❤

Hello! I am also a 33 year old Mom, but my baby is now 18 months. I totally hear you when you say you need a little makeover. Its so important for us moms to feel HUMAN! like you said its easy to lose yourself. I just wanted to say, keep it up, do your self care, feel better, and you look absolutely amazing!

This video popped up on my recommended, and I'm so happy to see you're doing well! Every few months I either get a new piercing or new haircut to feel new. As a mom of one and done and giving my all to my two year old it is very hard to give myself my all. I’ll be 31 this year in a new state so not having friends has been hard too. But I got a new job and can start feeling like myself again and having my own identity outside of being a mom. You are doing a great job!

The about face eye paints are amazing! They’re so fun to mix and they literally last forever which does make them a little difficult to remove so I recommend using a cleansing balm or an oil to remove them

I had no idea you used eye shadow as eyeliner it looks so good!

It’s so hard as a new mum to find your own identity again after such a big shift in it; I really struggled with that and thought it was only me (I had quite bad post natal depression and anxiety and thought it was tied to that) but it’s actually completely normal and really important. Love the hair cut, your hair looks so healthy and shiny and beautiful and I’m sure it will be much easier day to day - your makeup seems really ‘you’ and looks very polished but not overdone - you can tell you feel more yourself and at ease and again you look fantastic 🖤 I would love a closet makeover video - I live for cleaning/tidying/decoutter content! 😹

I try and have a 15min makeup routine and a 30 min one. Like time yourself kinda thing. That way depending on the morning, you can decide. I would find plain bottoms that have a drawstring or stretchy waistband. Like the linen pants or cargo capris. Find a top shape you like that is available in multiple colors or patterns. For me its Kolhs brand v neck tops. When ever they have a good sale I add to my collection, but I know exactly what size and what neck shape I like. Theres many brands though that have a basic tee that can be your go to. You can even find pajama bottoms that are plain colors and they work in a pinch.
