It’s been over 10 years since this game has come out. And I just figured out today that you could kill those level blocking piranhas with the super star😂

It feels really weird to not see Luigi there because me and my brother played this game so much. He got progress and did cool jumps and beat the bosses, while I died repeatedly, messed up levels by bouncing on his head, and running out of lives over 99 times.

I finally went back as a 25 year old adult to complete that level with all star coins. I was never able to do it solo back then.
I knew you live commentated your speedruns before but seeing it with a video is actually surreal, your ability to both focus on maintaining a good time AND expertly explaining parts, tricks and made jokes (ESPECIALLY in these longer 100% runs) is insane. Love ur content so much
@nomoretwitterhandles

I know, his fluidity and commentary stamina are insane. I don't think I've watched many streamers with that level of skill, except for maybe one or two others. Such a rare thing to see!
I know this will never be seen but I hope you know you help me sleep. Whenever I’m having panic attacks or just feel to anxious to sleep I turn on this exact video and let it play till I fall asleep. I’ve watched this video so many times now and it’s just a comforting video for me
I swear I have these levels memorized from my childhood
Favorite childhood game, favorite speed runner, and 2 hours long. Absolute perfection
Been waiting for this one! Watching all the streams was super fun, glad I was there to see your progress!

You can all use the cheat engine speedhack feature to speed up games, not for speedruns necessarily, but just to make them more enjoyable, or to speed through unskippable cutscenes, like in jedi fallen order.

@ncard00 o... okay? 👍
2:04:28 me and my siblings ALWAYS did this level with the mini mushroom every time we would play. the thrill of four players running on water for a minute (my little brother consistently died to the fire bros and was forced to bubble for the rest of the level)
This game took me forever to beat its insane that my favorite speed runner beat it this fast
this game was my childhood, i’d never dream of being this good
Fun fact: vegetable is just a part of a plant consumed by humans or other animals. If we assume Mario eats the flowers, they are in fact vegetables. and also grass is a vegetable, plenty of animals eat them, as are many other flowers and stuff.
My childhood... put into 2:20 minutes. Thx man. Most nostalgic game ever.

Finally a commented, non-boring walkthrough of my favorite game of all time. The vid I have been waiting for. Thanks Eazy!
Seeing you absolutely body all the levels that took me FOREVER to get through as a kid took years off of my lifespan (absolutely loved this though, the nostalgia was insane)
it's honestly amazing how you always have something to say throughout the entire gameplay, thanks for the video ❤❤
I don't know what's more amazing, doing the speedrun itself or *talking all the way through it*
Knowing that the tile flip minigame is not only not random but also only has six different layouts is truly cursed knowledge
“Sometimes you just gotta kill wildlife” - Eazy Speezy
I always thought he did the commentary separately after the recording...Now I'm even more impressed how he can keep up his commentary the whole time on all these videos (I mean, I know there are cuts, but still it's a lot).
I love all the gimmicks in this game. (Rotating blocks, different paths, the new powerups)
This speedrun just unlocked some memories from years years ago dang, he really is speedrunning all childhoods
I remember playing this game with my mom and sibling when I was younger. Me and my sibling weren't particularly good at the game but we always had fun. Unfortunately, we don't own the game anymore even though I'd love to drag my family into playing it again. Thank you for making my memories of the game resurface :) lovely nostalgia
This game was my childhood. It was the first game my dad ever taught me to play. Bro my dad had a cheat sheet for the item panel houses, he literally wrote all the combinations in a notebook

@@noturmom nice On a random note, did you know that there's a secret area on 1-1 in that really slow moving hill? If you go down to the pipe hole, without going in the pipe, and wait for a moment, the hill will rotate into the "ground", but it'll be a fake ground and you end up in a secret area with a buncha coins and 3 1-ups. (The 1-us are in hidden blocks, but it's easy to notice the blocks because they're just 3 empty spots in between the coins) I learned this while trying to save a toad. He ran into the hole and I couldn't get to him, and I braced to hear that noise that he makes when he dies, but instead he stayed alive. I followed him, and the rest is history

OH THIS IS A THROWBACK i used to have this game on the family wii when i was little and i'd play it with my siblings omg
I saw this video pop up and put everything down because this game is my childhood and I love it. Hope we get more videos on it.
I wanna see a Mario and Sonic Winter Olympic DS 2010 storymode speedrun
So I was following along with your video to 100% SMB Wii for the first time. First off, the kind of precise prop jump into the red tube is not ‘kinda’ I had to give it about 25ish lives with the actual execution of the jump being from the end of the box which was horribly irritating STILL. So props to Sam for getting that first try like it’s nothing. Next, I thought I was about to lose the castle Wendy fight, having her on the third stage (1 hit left for simplicity) and the water rose with me being small Mario (also one hit). But then I swam to the top and just as I jumped out of the water Wendy did her sassy jump and I got a direct hit on her head. I never felt more like a pro than in that moment. For reference, the hit box I hit on Wendy was 1:23:10 to 1:23:13. Anyways, I hope KZread is treating you well because I love your content and you deserve all that is earned and more.
this was my absolute favorite game as a kid im very happy to see this video
I played nsmbw a lot when I was younger, I recently acquired a Wii and spent some time completing it 100%. Definitely a memorable experience that I'm proud to have completed.
I don't normally watch speedruns all the way through, but this has to be one of the most enjoyable ones I've seen in a while.
5:40 hacker exposed! ! ! Lol I love your speedrun videos and commentary, they have so much replayability and are even nice to listen to in the background while doing other stuff!
found your channel about 2 or 3 months ago and honestly I absolutely love these videos. I never really watched speed runs unless they came up on my yt recommendations but yours did and I loved your first video I had seen and watched a few more. Idk how to explain I just love listening to you explain everything as it happens it’s good to keep me watching but also have playing in the background! Anyways in summary I love the videos!!
Watching this made me realize just how many levels my step siblings played without me
I absolutely love the longer videos of your speedrun, plants vs zombie 100% and the Lego star wars speedrun were absolutely amazing
I’ve watched this video like 3 times I love it this game was my childhood. You make me want to 100% it

Who’s the real speed runner huh
A lot of people say the first half/ 4 worlds of the game feel kinda empty, and I do agree. But for me I can still remember nearly all of them, for their unique gimmicks and enemies or a unique combination/implementation even though it's been a long time I've 100% the game. Yeah the NSMB franchise didn't do enough new stuff with each game (except Wonder) but honestly, I could say the same about so many other games/franchises that I'm not really disappointed. Imo for example splatoon 2 did less to improve/change over splatoon 1 than any of the NSMB games.
Bro when you said u also threw your siblings off on the rollercoaster level i immediatly laughed because instead of my siblings i threw my mother off the coaster
I always called the propeller hats a Whirrly Cap. Lol
Yessss new super Mario, Bros wii one of the best games in the franchise
You'd think rescuing the toads is Part of a 100% speedrun
Haven’t played this since I was a child. But I loved watching this appreciate the commentary as well this was so entertaining watching a master excel in his craft
I played this game like 15 hours this week and every time i would use the gly thing my hand just shakes lmao

You should totally speedrun Grime: Tinge of terror. It's one of my all-time favorite games and it involves several boss fights and a very good-looking, atmospheric story. Also I just appreciate the grind. Speedrunning is hard!
Yea me and my brother always shook the wii remote super hard to make the damn Wii pick it up. Good times!

really love this game and especially your content on it

1:38:00 Him calling the drills either skewers or blades is beyond painful
8-7 was a free for all and I loved it
I need to watch it... I need to watch it all...
this just in- Local plumber doesnt enjoy being crushed to death
So I recently started watching your speedruns and OMG I looove these! You are incredible at how you pull this off? If you ever do see this comment I was just wondering, I know you and Purple Hair guy always talk about forgetting things, but do you have photographic memory orrr just how many times do you play through all of these games and levels to memorize this stuff. It is insane and just amazing to me. I love watching your speedruns, both 100% and otherwise. This is some of the most exciting things to watch for me lately. Cause you pull it off with so much ease and all. And lastly every first try, is epic as heck! 😝
Not to get political, but this is the best 2d mario
The latest TAS can actually get through the pipe at 20:51 in the first cycle by using the ice flower and mechakoopas, but it's not viable for humans.
