TVHA stands for Tibetan Voluntary Health Association, and CTRC stands for Central Tibetan Relief Committee. These organizations are non-profit registered under the Indian government act. However, for easier understanding we refer to them as the Department of Health and Department of Home. but from the perspective of the Government of India, they are TVHA and CTRC. Since you said Dekyiling land was legally purchased by CTRC. Very interesting. This settlement might be the only Tibetan settlement where we don't need to lease the land or give it back to the Indian government. That means that people there don't need to stress about land legal issues, unlike in other Tibetan settlements all over India.

Tashi Delek to you. Thank you for your video. I am from Dekyiling. Last time I was there 2019. Wow it changed a lot since then.

We used to have our school tents at Norling park from 1981 to 1983. Honestly Dekyiling used to be more beautiful in 80s and 90s.

Do they have to follow any rules and regulations to build the houses.how do they get permission and building approval and plan.Most looks like they have built their house on the public road.

very early settlers in Dickyi ling schichak were Tibetans from Bhutan. There're many Tibetans living in Rajpur haven't received any Schichak but hooks & crooks jumped in to grab privileges -and later those greedy Tibetans bought & sold Schichak houses for profits. While there're still so many poor Tibetans in Rajpur that nobody listen or care. Pathetic & disappointing!

With such development of tibetan refugees but contributions back to CTA is just 8%
