I miss when animated films including disney had love ballads. They really moved people to tears. Now they don't even have ballads at all. They're just up beat dance party tracks

Sophie Skye saw this on a tribute to Sailor Moon. And you know how Sailor Moon is based on classical mythology I always associate it with classical mythology

Oh my God! No kidding! This was a shocking surprise! The movie may not have been a sensational hit, but the song on the other hand is another story! Thank you so much and know that I'm star struck now!

Omigosh me too. With husband or son. Maybe I will dance to it with my son at his wedding someday. We ended up choosing Peter Frampton's "Baby I love Your Way" for our first dance at our wedding, my husband and I. But both my husband and my son appreciate my love for Barry Manilow. So I am sure one of them would take me to a Barry concert in the future, too!

tonight I watched Thumbelina for the first time, this song moved me to tears... I loved seeing her and Prince Cornelius so happy in love 💓 what a beautiful little movie and soundtrack!!

Actually, the scarecrow was released in 2000 and apparently a direct to video film

In home video films of the late 80’s and half of the 90’s from family movies they had amazing love track a love song you fell in love with giving us the dream of someone we want to be with forever
