Johnny is an amazing beautiful Dartmoor Poney only muscles not one ounce of fat His coat is very shiny, he has a magnificient mane and tail and a real elegance emanates from him when he is trotting or cantering He doesn't look like 19 years old ... and with a character of his own (normal for a star)❤🐴😎

Do most Dartmoors look like mini Friesians, or is Johnny exceptionally handsome? Beauitful lines, mane and tail. I never would have guessed he is 19 years old.

I'm an absolute Johnny fan! Love his selfconfident behavior! If you told him, he was small he would'believe that!! He's the greatest! 😍

I was wondering if Johnny's babies (Peach and Mario) will look like him and have his temperament? It will be nice to have a bit of fiesty personality in them as a reminder of their father...😂 Johnny is so handsome and so full of life. That is some kind of personality...😊 I hope he is coping well with the new horses and not missing Frieda (his girlfriend) who is in Canada. Thank you Yvonne for the update on them. We, the viewers will miss the old herd and hope things will go well with them in their new home.❤

I know a shetland pony who is 29 yo.

oh my goodness! Only one minute into the video and I was laughing at his antics with the mares, and loving Johnny's sassy attitude...he may be a little pony, but he's got BIG character! And he's gorgeous, and knows it! He is a total Casanova, lol! And you're right: he looks very much like a Friesian, and looks much younger than 19 yrs. old! Thank you for sharing this! :-)

Thank you for the information about the Dartmoor Pony. In doing just some brief research on KZread and the internet, I did not realize where this wonderful pony originated from and that as far as I can tell, is an endangered horse. What a wonderful privilege to be introduce to a breed I had not known about. What a beautiful horse born in 2001.

He's a wildchild. My son volunteers at a stable and they have a pony that is 40...

Johnny is a gorgeous specimen of a pony. He's my favorite there at the stable. I love the Fresian beauties too, don't get me wrong, but there is just something about those big eyes and personality of Johnny.

when i saw that lunging rein in hand i just cringed. once, many years ago, i was lunging my step-dad's filly/mare. he was very specific, "if she rears up, don't hold the rein tight. you can't pull her down." of course as soon as she reared i held on for dear life and that lunging rein just burned through my hand. there wasn't enough pain medication in the world to make that pain go away. for a few days i slept with my hand in a bucket of ice water. the blisters were HUGE. lesson learned. wear gloves, don't hold on too tight. :-)

We had a pony who could have been Johnny's twin sister. Her name was Gypsy.
