"Let It Go" in ASL (Amber Zion & Jason Listman)

This is a music video created in American Sign Language out of love towards Frozen's hit song, “Let It Go." This music video was created with a team consisting of a 100% deaf cast and crew. We believe in supporting deaf people everywhere and allowing the sign language community access to one of the best songs in music history.

I only know of this song because Disney On Ice came to fort wayne Indiana and I was one of the staff who cleaned up after every show!!! They redid this song at the end for the deaf children who came out to the show!!! Ty for doing this

I'll laugh if Disney comes along and makes KZread mute the audio track. It won't affect this video's target audience at all.

A hearing sister of my Deaf student recently passed away and "Let it Go" was played at her graveside service with the snowflakes floating down from above. I have shared the link to your beautiful ASL rendition with my student's family so that they can watch it together with their Deaf daughter who can now enjoy one of her sister's favourite songs. Lovely and thank you.

I love how they took advantage of the hand movements and used them as Elsa's magic.

ASL in music videos always seem more like a dance to me. Amazing!

I am certain that if these deaf people could hear the actual song, "Let It Go" they would be just as much in love with it as we who can hear are!

I have done ASL signs for over 50 years (learned the alphabet), a few other signs without realizing. Many have done the sign for "so-so"when asked how they were,( everyone knows the sign for "I love you",learned a few from "Happy days" Now I go to a place for adults with disabilities/handicaps, on Wednesdays,I've been learning much more ASL.

This is pure poetry. I love seeing this. The words say one thing, but the meaning is another.

It's videos like these, that remind me of what I miss most about becoming an interpreter. I'm hooked on this song not in ASL but to see it this way if just beautiful. Thank you so much for making this. And I found this on my birthday!

Great work. I am hearing and don't know ASL... But I've always seen ASL as such an artistic and beautiful way to communicate. Thanks for sharing your talent.
