NEW VERSION HERE : • Let It Be - Instrument...
Here's my instrumental cover of the single version of Let It Be by The Beatles and produced by George Martin. I tried my best to reproduce the nuances of each instrument;
- For the piano part, I used a Blüthner Model 6 like the original record.
- For the organ part (by Billy Preston), unfortunately, I didn't find a Hammond M102, so I used a Hammond L100 (of course with a Leslie speaker).
- For the electric piano part, I used a Rhodes Mark I
- For the bass line, I used a HB Jazz Bass with Fender amp emulation.
- For the guitar parts, my friend used a Fender Stratocaster with a Leslie emulation.
- For drums part, I used a DW drums kit (Ringo Starr played that part on a Ludwig Hollywood).
- For the orchestra part (brass), I used some virtual instruments.

Assholes, what you're saying is that they are only the best band ever, but any other singer or act that is not a band is better than the Beatles. @@auletjohnast03638 Dean is closer than you to being right. They are far from being the best musicians ever. They are quite elementary, technically as individual musicians. They're magic is the sum being greater than the parts. They knew how to piece together simple parts that when combined became just the right sum. Any great jazz or classical prodigy is light years beyond any one of the Beatles as a solo musician. I'd say Lennon and McCartney were 2 of the best songwriters of the 20th century and beyond

The Beatles were an end of an era. The greatest band of all time. I wasn't even around the 60's but still somehow I feel so connected to their music, with this being my all time favouraite.
The film seriously looks like it was recorded yesterday, amazing.
This sound is like Mozart or Beethoven ... Is immortal . It will never die

The ear and mind can catch a slight miss. But had I not read the comments that said this was a cover, my ears and mind thought I just heard the 4 lads in 1969 playing an instrumental track that was darn close to the album and single release. My friend, simply outstanding effort. Unreal and uncanny.

Agree! I thought I was listening to the real deal, some lost track somewhere, and was hearing a new guitar solo. Outstanding!
We didn't realise what we had in The Beatles until the band was gone. 4 beautiful and talented guys each played their part ❤
It’s getting late, the sun is setting on us and soon our winters dreams will find us on the other side of the universe. Our springs and summers are gone and autumn has taken some of our friends but we will see them soon. And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make.

Definitely the best band that ever existed on earth. Everything in this video is beautiful. I miss them. Too bad those two are gone. Thanks to God for these brilliant young people who broke, traditions, standards etc and imposed themselves by competence in the art of composing and singing

Watching the creation of these songs unfold in front of me…..I really struggle how to describe it. Dude…..40/50 years ago….and these songs still hold up.

If anyone of them could have imagined that these sequences would cause such an excitement more than 50 years later?
From little teenagers making an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, to mega stardom creating their own sounds, a legend comes to an end. They will forever be missed.
I don't give props very easily for Beatles covers, but, yeah, you got it right. When the piano started, I thought it was the original.

Like others, I had no idea this was a cover until I read some of the comments and the description. I figured it was something Jackson found going through the tapes. Just incredible! 👍

I am so thankful to have found this. It was so good to see the group have so much fun being together. You can tell they truly loved each other.

Also, Alex, you directed an excellent video! :-) 00:01- John's announcement. 0:06 - Maureen jives. 0:0:17 - Yoko & Linda in conversation. 0:0:25 - A new drummers for the band, Paul, John, George. 0:50: - John's marital arts. 1:22 - Boys dancing. 1:42 v- John entrance, withy coffee and style. 2:10 - Heather shares a secret with Paul. 2:38 - Paul 'hits' Mal. 2:48 - Ringo's unique. So are his dance moves. 2:52 - Paul doesn't need a stuntman. 3:99 - John's silly dancing. 3:35 - Recording session can be a lot of fun.
When the intro finishes, I bet everybody will start singing with Paul. What an iconic and wonderful masterpiece.
The timbre of the Blüthner is spot on, guitar and keys are good, but the drums are where it diverges a bit. It's no disrespect, Alex did a phenomenal job, but Ringo's fills and groove are so unique, it's why those who criticize him have tin ears and no sense of arrangements. Ringo played the song more than he played the "drums" if you get what I mean. Solo's and flash didn't concern him, he wanted to play the song.

It's so easy to forget, amidst all the analysis, iconography, hero worship, blame, etc . . . that these guys were still in their twenties, already had a lot of history together, and were capable of having fun. Nice to see, thanks!

Yes, I have listened for many times Let it be performed by the Beatles. And I was sure Paul had played another chord that is on 3.02 of the cover. I didn't know why the Beatles left that point.

@@adaybaisakalov7407 F6/Amin sounds to me. It works, just another color added to the A minor. Paul did things much more unacceptable theory wise than that. Like that horn note at the end of mother nature's son or that violin note at the end of yesterday that George Martin told him didn't work.

Because Macca probably hit one of those wrong chords during the take and probably then raised an eyebrow immediately to say “got away with one there I hope”. Great cover
What a great band must be from another world. Their surely too talented from this one. I’ve loved “The Beatles”, for 58 years and even tough my hearing is fading their music is still crisp, as it was the first time I heard it. Please let us hear the part you cut.

Love, love, love this video, have watched it several times. Until I read the comments I assumed this was part of the "Get Back" documentary and they had removed the vocals from the original recording. Because in an interview Peter Jackson said they had made use of neural net software that could isolate vocal and instrumental parts quite well. It's a very good cover.
I am so happy whenever I watch them but this made me cry... oh boy. I'm only 26 and I feel such connection.

I’ve been a professional musician for 40 years and I’ve never found a drummer who can emulate Ringo. There was such deep feel, groove and emotional impact in his playing. Some drummers are ignorant enough to think Ringo was lame. I’ve challenged several of them to try and copy his playing and they all failed. He was one of the most unique and inspired drummers in music history.
