I am so happy this show is SO GOOD. My expectations really were rock bottom, but wow the actors playing Lestat and Louis are amazing. Jacob has made me absolutely love Louis. He's such a conflicted spitfire now, whereas while the film is in my top 5 of all time, Brad Pitt was just given the whiny Louis of the books. The chemistry is off the charts and Lestat is so perfectly sassy and fed up with Louis (while still adoring him..err until that last episode where it got outta hand).. And I love that the show stands as a totally separate entity from the film, like I can't really compare them because they just feel like their own thing. I couldn't mix and match from either. Tom cruise is the perfect Lestat in the film. And sam is perfect in the tv. Same with claudia. Brad pits Louis....um....he did the job.

episode 6 is already just sad, and I'm only 5 mins in. Poor Louis. ;_;...and omg lestat you have the gall to come knocking around already!

This was so good! The film is one of my favourite, and I was so glad when I read they are making a tv show, and yes, It's actually great! The video is so well edited, I love how much emotions are in it!

oh thank you so much! Yes I was really trying to think of a song where I can include the sad and violent bits, but also some of the funny banter between them and smiles. I wish I could have included the "I heard your hearts dancing!!!" line, lol, but it didn't really fit. XD Film is a classic, the gothic vibe is just spot on. This show has it's own vibe going, which I really love. I just finished episode 6, like 2 minutes ago. Oh boy. I like how the audience is walking in Louis shoes, wanting Lestat back even though he is detestable and really horrible now! I'm still loving to hate him. damn its that charm of his. D: thanks again!

It's been an emotional last 2 episodes. Seeing where they were and where they are now...is depressing! The latest episode has my heart hurting SO MUCH for Louis. It was honestly way worse seeing the aftermath of the violence then the actual violence. Lestat needs to enter a time where therapy is popular and go get some. and thank you for the comment :)
