Lessons from the Dr. Joe Dispenza Retreat that Changed Me Forever

Dr. Joe Dispenza's work is truly transformative. In this video I break down the top three things I learned during a Dr. Joe Dispenza Meditation retreat and how it impacted me.
During the Dr. Joe Dispenza Retreat, I learned that my thoughts create my reality, and I can change my thoughts by changing what I believe about myself. I also learned that I can heal myself and others through meditation and pure intention and balance my energy centers to treat ADHD and autism. These takeaways have transformed my life, and I hope they can help you transform yours too.

@@kathrynmcnerney6490 deep lifestyle detox, i was working jobs and allowing people in my life who were unhealthy for me. detoxed everything all social media, music, tv, all scary movies or graphic shit communication like a month.. quit my job.. looking back I created an environment that stressed me out. I think I was used to being stuck, dealing with drama/ trauma and fear my whole life. Alcoholic dad...Fear is the root of mostly everything that caused my anxiety. sounds crazy but I'm so in love with what I'm doing now.. I wouldn't have figured it out without detoxing my life. I've three of the four books Dr. Joe has written. Becoming Supernatural's my favourite. I'm 77 soon 78 and I wish that he was around 50 years ago. I knew, when I saw him in" What the Bleep ", that he was the guy for me. He knew or maybe better put he was on the right track, he made so much sense to me. I'm a very serious ADHD scatterbrain who grew up in difficult circumstances as the politically correct like to say. His teachings and meditations have helped me to work through many of my issues. Still a long way to go. There was a time when I read a sentence and couldn't tell what I had just read to save my life. Using his lessons and being disciplined EVERY DAY, has helped me a lot. Particularly using the kaleidoscopes as a tool to improve focus. Over the past couple of years his videos and Nichiren Buddhist meditations ( Tina Turner chanting ) have brought a lot of peace to me at the beginning of the end of my. life. Thank you Caren for making this video expanding the audience for Dr. Joe's work. And as Caren said much of his work is online for free.

I’m a long time follower of Dr. Joe and did the week long in November of 22 since then I almost every morning meditated to Dr. Joe’s paid for guided meditations that are about 90 minutes long. There are 8 steps or 8 different meditations that build on each other. I just started the # 8 meditation about a week to 10 days ago. I’ve been doing this for about 10 or 11 months now. I’ve had ADHD most of my life starting as a child & I’m a sr. citizen now. I’ve also had a few other mental or brain related issues. I’ve made major changes in my life. The other person I would recommend looking into is Dr. Daniel Amen one of his first books was what 68,000 brain scans will tell you. I am thinking about doing another week long or the advanced week follow up retreat. I’m a big fan of Dr. Joe & Dr. Amen. I’m like you I like it where spirituality and science intersect.

It makes sense if that chakra is out of sync then it could disrupt a persons ability to follow through , complete tasks, have a clear trajectory . It also makes sense that it could manifest as constipation …. being stuck , backed up, no energy to motive. Very interesting. Thank you for making this video on what really jazzed you about the weeklong .

Interesting insights. That makes sense regarding the 3rd chakra. I've identified it as an issue and am struggling to lose weight and heal my fatty liver disease at this time. Boundaries are definitely an issue also. I tried Dr. Dispenza's guided meditations for a few weeks. Then something else came up and I "forgot." I'm not sure it made a difference in those few weeks. I'll try it again to see what happens. Doubtless I could benefit from a retreat, but the expense is prohibitive. And the fact that this is not something he can farm out to other trainers and provide a "center" in every big city, like TM does for instance, has given me pause. I like "quieter" meditations such as Rupert Spira and Eckhart Tolle. But, of course, they don't promise miraculous physical and emotional healings like Dr. Joe. But thanks for the reminder. I'll include the practice in my week again.

I’ve avoided meditating for a long time because I just can’t last for even a minute. But I tried one of his walking meditation in my room 😂 and omg I finished it. @@desireco If you remember that science isn't stagnant. Oftentimes we don't have the equipment or technology to measure a hypothesis, until we actually do. At one point we didn't have x-ray machines, or MRIs etc to determine what was happening, we still can't measure the brain properly, so using science as the official evidence to prove everything as we evolve, is a bit limiting, another issue is, how science research is being used, and how limited is our exploration (funding), so once again it could be insufficient. I view science as the breakdown and documentation of the unseen/spiritual/beyond the physical.

the ADHD unrelated Solutions, concepts and personal development tools that could be oriented or redefined as an analogy for ADHD support is the future and innovation for conquering our common and universal challenge, it is ironic, thrilling, eye opening and exciting how our difficulties and the solutions to them all reside within us, how we get to realize mid journey that we are not ADHD friendly with ourselves and struggle a big deal accepting ourselves (I see this even through the eyes of some coaches, advocates and influencers or the community) some kids even think that we are meant to live a life full of suffering, and that the mountain to pass through in pursuit of inner peace is sadly a nearly impossible task but that is until we get that we need each other as we are not alone, that organizing is a mean to climb, that our creativity is what is going to provide ways and tools to succeed, our empathy is needed for compensation, our people orientation for support and belonging, our entrepreneurial mindsets for providing opportunities and even jobs for each other, our resilience for keeping up, our passion for heart, our confidence for self esteem, meditation for perspective, focus for dedication and way much more. All traits are double edged swords and we just need to learn how to swing. Hello Caren, I like your videos, I am Yosri, a 24 years old software engineering student in Tunisia (a third world country that makes me think that I'm an alien walking its streets :) ) but nothing peaks my interest more that becoming an advocate to this community and help build what has saved me back in my darkest days, so I constantly try to come up with diverse solutions just like you do on your channel, though I'm still on an early stage and not quite qualified I do wish to go to go abroad to Canada and redirect my career plan but I'm uncertain about this idea honestly, how to plan and understand the process and the risks.. That's why I really wish I could get to have a conversation with you about how someone who wants to dive into this world should do, I hope you read and recognize this, much love and appreciation!

Does this mean that you are going to be healed (through Joe’s method) of ADHD? The trouble being neurodivergent is that some people think being ADHD is a kind of illness. With a formal diagnosis on the UK you are then classified as disabled. In some ways that label can help as you can, in the workplace at least, ensures you get your needs met. I guess I’m just worried that you will be healed, disappear from KZread and we’ll be left without the amazing resources you provide.

I don't think about "being healed" as I don't see myself with a disability (my own personal view). I'm always looking for ways to improve my life or better manage my adhd and anxiety. I'm not going anywhere!

@@CarenMagill No I don’t see it as a disability either. I see it more of a personality trait. I just get a bit sick of people saying that it’s caused by xxx or xxxx and that it can be healed. Like I somehow failed to do that too. 😂 glad you are staying around. You manage to deliver an understanding of ADHD that I can hear and that I agree with. Thank you.

I believe the money that he makes goes back into the research that he does as it wouldn't be a case of him getting funding from government bodies. This sort of work goes against what the government is trying to push - so the Dispenza work has to be funded by us. I'm happy to do that to gain this sort of knowledge.

Love your account but think it’s not good to promote “Dr” Joe Dispenza. He is a chiropractor, not an MD and promotes such harmful spiritual bypassing and magical thinking. He came from the Ramtha cult as well and was on staff there for years. I used to love him but woke up to the nonsense.

I'm aware that he is a chiropractor. He is very clear about that in his books. Your comment about Ramatha inspired me to do some further research. I'm always skeptical about new age personalities, but honestly, I believe he is coming from a place of integrity. If it's a cult, I didn't see any behaviors or requests that would indicate it. No one asked me to take a pill or sign over my life savings.

@@CarenMagillI'm with you! There are lots of persons around the world which are authentically grateful for Joe Dispenza's work; I mean, radically recovered at all from diseases most of times diagnosed as mortal by established science, other cases where people becoming into a more harmonious wholesome life, his teachings and procedures are not only peer reviewed by Scientific community...which recently published how continued meditations are not only a outstanding treatmemt on SARS COVII but effective against other type of diseases as cancers.

I’ve been loving Sam Harris’ meditation course and app Waking Up. Most insightful teachings I’ve come across yet about mindfulness and the way he approaches it is quite motivating to keep doing it daily.
