Lesson 14: How to choose a flute/ Banshi/Bansuri, Discussions on different scales of Flutes

This is an special lesson where our Guruji discussed different scales of flute, importance of a tuned flute, how to get them, his experience about making his own flute - which was a great factor for teaching and learning flute in this region. Anyone wants to learn flute, the first point is how and from where he/she can find his flute. In this episode, we have tried to discuss it from different angles. This is about how you will get your perfect Samurai! In the first 13 lessons, we tried to cover the basic points about learning flute. In this episode, we are discussing how to collect and choose a perfect flute. From the next lessons, we will enter the world of Raga and will try to explore that amazing world of music, mood and love! Before that, everyone should have a right flute in his hand, then we will start our journey together.
Anyone can collect flute from his nearest music shop, the point is the flute must be perfectly tuned, or one can collect flute from our Guruji.
We hope you enjoy this lesson, the duration is a bit long, 26 minutes in total, but we think this topic demands the time. Those who are extreme beginner, some points of this lesson may seem to him complex, but do not worry, you will concentrate on your necessary portion and we hope it will help you to choose your own flute.

We hope you all enjoy playing flute.

Sir, I have seen many videos and found the E bass flutes are very big and the playing holes are also very wider. But the Bansuri you are playing have playing holes comparatively nearer which seems very comfortable. Is it your own invention? 🙏🙏
