Single classes are more ideal but in places in which there are a small number of enrollees multi-grade classes is offered.

Maam may i know what are the advantage of multigrade classes in a small schools?

Multigrade classes are only for remote areas. It is good in terms of developing the social skills of the learners. The resiliency of the learners will also develop. On the part of the teachers, this is quite tedious because of a lot of preparations, different levels of learners and etc. But what is good for the teachers is that they are given hardship allowance.

That is only for remote areas with very small enrollees that is why two or more grade levels are combined with 1 teacher.

There are a lot of learning theories. All of them can be used to multigrade classes depending on the situation. Behaviorism, cognitivism, constructionism, connectivism , humanism are the top learning theories for that kind of class

There are different policies that pertains to the multigrade teachers , and teaching And learning process as well as the curriculum.
