The bar is not too high but not too low either. All of the idols are humans we can't expect them to have good vocals when they're dancing. It's true that le sserafim needs improvement but being an idol is not only about talent . It's also about stage presence and their stage presence is really good (my opinion of course). And at last just because someone is better than you at something, it doesn't make you bad it just makes you worse than them. So please don't compare people, because everyone is different and it's very naive to call someone talentless ( you didn't say talentless I'm aware, but I just wanted to make my point of view clear)

actually, one group i can think of that can surpass BP's performance and stage presence is Mamamoo. They have everything and more. BP members have the visuals, yes, but Mamamoo has more talent and outstanding stage presence ever since their rookie years. Their rookie performances can even speak for themselves that they looked like veteran performers ever since. They never lacked in any performance and has been consistent, unlike BP who are choosy in what stages they'll give their all in.

Everything went wrong with le sserrafim performance. Hear me out I love le sserrafim but did terrible job at vocal line. To know where things went wrong I saw blackpink performance and it was so good.the difference was whenever any member was out of breath other girls were singing to help that member to catch breath. Blackpink members were calm and had had proper planning and execution. Well I hope next week le sserrafim do good job and concentrate instead of panicking. I feel bad for them hybe should have give them proper vocal training.

I think Aespa did very well and it’s just a matter of popularity. Their stage presence as well as their vocals were really good. Blackpink was already well known before performing in Coachella so people shouldn’t compare Blackpink with Aespa or Le sserafim.

I stan Le sserafim but i do think that practice will make them better. Just, not in the Coachella stage. It's a prestigious stage, not a rehearsal area.

The average general public fan who is not into kpop is only going to hear about the performance that got the most hype (whether good or not) and this year le sserafim’s is gonna pop up on their feed and they’re gonna be like “¿ this type of music is trash” and move on.” That’s what people mean by “they embarrass kpop.” This is due to the avg non kpop general public fan seeing the genre as a monolith and not wanting to engage, because it feels forced. my baby they are singers not dancer they have to sing do you think i pay so much money to just go and see them dance then why i shouldn't go to a dance club which is much cheaper they have to do there job idk what this excuses when people say its okay that they dont sing cause they are dancing it thier job to sing

Oh yeah bigger move, 🤭 they should become a dance crew then not a Kpop artists all this "bigger moves" come out late in the 3rd gen cuz they are now more focus on visual and dance. Not the original kpop that is more on singing.
