That part of Belgium is worth a holiday on it's own. In Dinant you've missed the Citadel and the tour on the river "Meuse". In Han Sur Lesse there is a very nice and big cave and a wildlife park, both worth to visit. And of course don't forget some change next time for the "frites" and the dozens of tasty sauces. I prefer the "sauce bruin Leffe".

I'm glad you enjoyed my adopted country, Belgium! One of my favorite things about the place is the sheer density of things worth seeing. We never have to suffer hours of tedious driving on featureless highways to get to someplace interesting. I love getting lost here. Just drive in any direction for 10 minutes... Castle. Fortress. Abbey. Brewery. Gorge. Ruins. Beer. Fries. Palace. Waterfall. War cemetery. Local, completely obscure but delicious beer. Caves. Nature reserve. Museum. Hiking trail. Biking path. More beer. Battlefield. Marsh. Hops field. Vineyard. Dunes. Beer. Nuclear powerplant. Beer. Fries and beer. Waffles and beer. Beer and more beer, beer without peer! Hope you liked it here, come back soon! :D

Belgium has a lot to offer,in every corner of the land,there is always something to explore.

Belgium is so great and so underrated! Thanks for finding out about the lesser known parts of the country. Next time, it might be an idea to make a culinary tour of the kingdom: it's an undiscovered paradise for gourmets. The Belgians really care about food... and its pairing with wine or with their excellent beers.

Dinant is my favourite destination in Belgium! The town itself is quite lovely and serene, and the surrounding area is a gem filled with castles, monasteries, impressive abbeys, fabulous scenery and cute villages like Sosoye, Celles, Waldzin Castle and Maredsous. Although I love cities like Bruges and Ghent, I can't wait to visit this often overlooked part of Belgium again.

Great! I'm no traveller at all, so I've never been to Belgium. And it looks so beautiful. The bulk of the youtube travel channels go to Asia, Africa, South America, but I'd like to see more of this. Or Scandinavia in winter. Or anything lesser known in Europe.

Well done you two another great video, gald you are enjoying Belgium, i love it there, people are so friendly, food good, nice things to see Especially Bastogne. Shower bag, to heat up easier, lay it on the biggest rock nearest you and i mean biggest that is facing the sun, Rocks hold their heat overnight, always a good one to remember if caught out in the cold overnight, huddle to large rocks that are hot or warm. The Reserve you went into that resembles Horse Shoe Canyon (sort of ) lolol reminds me of the area around Ross on wye And Monmouth, lovely areas. Just remember guys extreme heat is forecast over the next week in Europe and Uk so be careful overnight ok, And the cookie could have been used to entertain yourselves while camping as a Frisbee!! lolol, Stay safe!!!!

Haha. I went to Dinant on a school trip from London, probably around 1968 at 11 years old. I had my first continental breakfast experience there and also my first experience of being chased out of the funfair by the local kids. 😅Oh...those kids also stole a 6 inch high jelly baby that i had bought to take home to mum. Apart from that i had a great time there. Thanks for bringing back some childhood memories.

Solar shower heats best midday. In the morning the angle of sun is usually too low. You can heat water on stove and put in bag, just make sure you don’t get it to hot. If you leave bag on car roof gravity will supply the pressure. I use one on camping trips and it can work surprisingly well.

My great grandfather was born in Dinant.

Belgium looks beautiful. I’ve been to Brussels but the his area looks very different and not too crowded. The editing of the newer videos had also been great. Have a polished travel show feel to them 👍

Apart from being a bloody good Frisby, that cookie would make ones arm ache dunking pieces of it for a minute or more in ones very large espresso. You should try to find an overnight stop by a river, it would solve the shower problem with a nice morning swim or splash around coupled with a nice smelling body spray. Stay safe.❤💋💋👸🧔

Nice video. I found your channal by coincident. It was recommanded by KZread. I saw this clip ... I'm Belgian, but I learned new things. Here in Flanders, Wallonia is quiet unknown (the languege has also something to do with it). It's like another country to us. Dinant I know off course, but never heared of the Giant Tombs or that most photographed point you were at. So I'm not sure if your information is accurate. I would think the city of Bruges is the most photographed thing here. 😁 We've got many lovely places in Flanders also, not only Bruges! I think it is a real pity you didn't visit more in Belgium, and even nothing in Flanders. And what about: How knew Belgium is beautiful??? Don't say that here, we are sensitive about that. It wasn't funny. Next time do a van trip in Belgium, the whole country, and you will be amazed. 😉 PS: a lot of cities can be prononced in several ways. Ex: Dinant (with t in Dutch) and Dinan (without t in French and also the letter a is prounounciated differently). The best example must be also a Walloon city with 3 names: Liège (French), Luik (Dutch) and Lüttich (German). The 3 official languages of Belgium. 😉
