The worst thing that happened to Matchbox was selling out to Mattel. Mattel have shown a complete lack of respect for this iconic British toy. I just hope a british entrepreneur steps in and buys it when Mattel’s profits fall, and relocates it’s manufacturing facilities back in GT. Britain.
