This is like a time-machine for me! Used to avidly collect as a kid, and had this very catalogue: can almost smell the cardboard boxes and new metal/paint, and the "Vision-On" music makes it perfect! Replayed it about 10 times, 'cause it brought me back to the summer of '68 with my late brother John RIP....the wonder of this media....goosebumps! Soooo many thanks...Mark

I was all about Corgis. In the day with the big display cases at the toy store and the yellow boxes. I infected all my friends with Corgi madness. Heck, at 50 I'd love to get back those mid 70's pieces. Just superb toys of top quality and detail not like today's trinkets.

I believe the playout theme tune to Vision On was called Java , by Al Hirt.

Nice 😊. Corgi were so good in the 1960’s. Took me back in time to scrutinising this with a torch, at night, in bed, in secret, for hours as a little boy.Thanks for sharing. 👍

I swear that when I make my fortune I'm going to collect Corgis! I was obsessed with them as a kid and lost em in a move. Dinky had some far out stuff too. Loved the 3 James Bond cars and the vehicles from the Brit sci-fi series UFO made by Dinky.

I always loved this catalogue , because I liked the big gold coloured Lincoln Continental on whole of the cover . so much so , I had one bought for me on my 6th birthday along with Paddy Hopkirk 177 Mini Cooper and a Matchbox Kingsize Mercedes ambulance :-)

I owned many of these Corgi , Dinky , Matchbox and Tri-ang Spot on at some stage or other during childhood . had more Corgi ,Matchbox and other stuff like crescent , Lone Star stuff as it was pretty reasonably priced .

Thanks for time travel!! I had a love/hate relationship with this catalog. I loved all the cars and trucks, but hated the "Mod" style. I had only had seen the mid 60;s catalogs before, which were of a completely different design. Plain and detailed, color blocks, etc. Either way, needless to say, my brother and I wore out many Corgi & Matchbox catalogs during the 1960s!!! Gonna have to download and circle all the models I remember having and just seeing and see if his list and my list match

Still recall a fairly older kid I knew from the neighborhood conning me into trading for a tireless and worn version of that Mercedes limo. The paint was worn and I think at least one of the opening doors was missing. I think I gave him a small scale brand new Matchbox Cougar in lime green and maybe some other Matchbox. What did I know? I was only seven and it was 1969. Couldn't take my eyes off that big car. Don't recall if my folks found out. Don't think I told them.

was that the maroon 1 with rain effect on the windscreen ? and when you pushed the car along , the wipers moved from side to side .

I was born in 1959 so grew up with many of these and lucky enough to have them again. I urge you now if you get the chance to buy them as you won't regret it . Love the music too
