I love how Millie doesn't question, berate, or even mention Moxxie's being drunk. She knows what happened and knows what she needs to do to make sure he is safe. This is a refreshing contrast to how a lot of other shows deal with drunk people or those who are in danger. No monologue, just efficient action.

Fun fact: Michael Crawford played the Phantom of the Opera and in the pilot Moxxie and Millie have a Phantom of the Opera poster in their bedroom. So Moxxie is probably a Phantom fan.

this makes so much more sense now because i just rewatched "exes and oohs" (season 2 ep 3), and in that episode there's a picture of moxxie and millie with phantom playbills

I really like Vortex's characterization. They could have easily made him make fun of Luna or blow her off completely but to him she's like a lonely puppy (especially after she said "I wish I had friends") and so he invites her to hang with him and his girlfriend. He's really sweet. Also, Loona didn't die, she's a Hellhound, so like Stolas' daughter and Charlie, she was one of the ones who were born down there.

I really shout out to this show for having more diversity in one episode than some shows have in all their seasons along with calling out the furries in the same episode we stan.

The fact that Verosika and Marinette from 'LadyBug' have the same voice actor still amazes me. Cristina Vee definitely did a really good job with both characters. Usually when I hear a va over and over it gets kinda annoying for me but Cristina does a really good job giving the characters their own voice instead of the same tone. Idk if this makes sense to anyone but it does to me :'D

btw elijah, there is 2 types of beings in hell on this show, the ones that were born in hell and the ones that were sent to hell, imps, hellhounds and royal demons are hellborn (with some exceptions for the royal demons) and in this case loona was born in hell and she ages, blitzo just adopted her when she was 17, that was what she was implying

The look on Loona’s face when she bumps into Tex at their office building. She’s aggressive and unruly on a daily basis, but seeing an amorous side to her? That had me curious. 🤔😌 Speaking of Tex. He may be Verosika’s right hand Hellhound, but at least he’s the type that doesn’t let the job get to his head. He’s pretty chill and I respect that. ✊

I love that tex could totally tell that loona was crushing on him but he was still super nice about it and still wants to help her make other connections 🥰

Slight clarification: Most of the Characters in this show are Hellborn, including the Imps, Loona and Stolas. They were never human and died, they are natural born Citizens. Sinners are only able to reside in the Pride ring, which is also where I.M:P. has their offices, but Moxxie and Millie for instance were born in the Wrath Ring

I'm aro/ace but human Verosica can have her way with me any day of the week. Literally one of the the only women who can make me question my own sexuality.

Still gives me great joy that Verosica's VA is also Marrionette from Miraculous Ladybug.

I love to see your reactions you're so attentive and sweet, to give you some info since you seem confused Blitzø, Millie, Moxxie and Loona are hellborn creatures. Almost everyone we see in this series are hellborn creatures, Blitzø, Millie and Moxxie are imps, while loona is a hellhound. Verosika and her friends and succubus and incubus.(male version of succubus) Also the rulers of hell are the 7 princes, which represent the 7 deadly sins (Lust: Asmodeus, Greed: Mammon, Wrath:Satan, Pride: Lucifer, Belphegor: Sloth, Beelzebub: Gluttony, Livyatan: Envy. Despite all that Lucifer is the most powerful of all, and he's the king of hell) The hell in Helluva boss/hazbin hotel is just a BIG pentagram, and every part of this pentagram is divided between the 7 princes, in 7 rings. Hellborn demons can travel across the 7 rings freely while sinners are stuck in the pride ring which is the most prominent of all. Millie and Moxxie were born in the Wrath side of the pentagram, I believe their office is in the Pride ring as well. And Loo loo land is in the Greed ring. Fun fact! The top 3 strongest demons in the hierarchy are: 1. Lucifer 2. Charlie 3. The seven deadly sins! Hope this helped.

Loona isn’t a sinner! All of the characters in this episode are HellSpawn- meaning they were born in hell. Loona is a Hellhound, as is Vortex. Blitz, Moxxie, and Millie are Imps. Verosika and her friends are succubi. You come to find out more about Loona’s past in season 2! :) Also Verosika is such a good character. Cristina Vee did an excellent job making her sound sexy when singing which is such a turnaround from her usually kid friendly roles haha!

Verosika's design is inspired by Electra Heart by Marina, which i think is cool. You can even find a comment from Vivzie under one of Marina's songs on youtube.

One thing to know that isn’t really explained in the show is that Loona and the imps never died. There are two types of demon in Helluva Boss/ Hazbin Hotel: Sinners and Hellborn. Sinners are the souls of humans who died and were sent to hell. Hellborn demons include imps, hellhounds, and succubi/inccubi. They’re natives of Hell.

Btw Verosika’s voice actress is actually the same voice as Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug and I seriously couldn’t believe it when I first found out

So a little fact: Loona, and our main trio didn't die. Hellhounds and imps are born in hell, while demons like that one teacher in episode 1 died, and didn't become a kid again, and turned into a weird pink demon instead of a imp like Blitz, Millie and Moxxie

Cristina Vee as Verosika is quite jarring given her reputation in anime voice work and non-anime like Miraculous Ladybug.

Tbh helluva boss and hazbin hotel (along other things) has made me pretty interested I demons- one of these days imma have to look some stuff up about different types (including succubus and incubus)

I love all the designs for the lesser sucu/incubuses even if they dont get a lot of focus. Fun fact 2 of the guys are implied to be in a relationship wich will be shown in a later episode. And the two girls hugging when the cops show up at the end are confirmed to be in a relationship. Such nice details given to such minor characters.

I like that Vortex is just a genuine good dude.

When the loading sign came up I died. I can see the lesbian radiating off of Elijah. ITS SO FUNNY 😆

I love the lesbian (or for succubi would it be pan/bi?) succubus couple. They're so cute for the few seconds they're onscreen. And Millie is so badass. I would love to have a Millie to my Moxxie. I need someone chaotic to break up my routine every now and then.

The imps and Hellhounds like Luna and other Demons are different from 'Sinners', they're naturally born in hell, and stay dead when killed. Sinners are mortals that come to hell, and restricted to one section of hell normally. They come back when killed, but can be killed permanently by angelic weapons, which is where The Purge comes in in Hazbin Hotel, every year Angels come down and kill a bunch of Sinners permanently to deal with overcrowding in Hell.

Fun fact: Christina vee (Marinette's Voice Actor From Miraculous Ladybug) Is the voice actor for Verosika Mayday

You should definitely listen to the full "Mustang Dong" song from the very start of this episode. It's short but really funny. It honestly wouldn't even need to be a full reaction since it's so short. Just a decent song.

I love Blitzø’s voice actor, he has his own KZread channel and I’ve watched him for years, he makes a bunch of videos just as chaotic and funny as the show, I was so happy when I saw he was the voice actor for Blitzø (His name is Brandon Rogers)

It only gets better. Not only do the stories get better, The more you learn about the main characters, the more fun they all are.

When Elijah first started reacting to this show I deadass had a feeling she was gonna have a brief gay panic over Loona and Verosika's human disguises. 😂 I mean hey I had the same reaction and I'm pan so no judgment here lol

All jokes aside, Moxie and Millie's relationship gets better with every episode, I love it.

Fun fact: Loona didn't die and become a demon, she's a legitimate Hellhound.

so just want to put this out there so people aren't confused about the characters and where they come from: so the imps, the succubi and incubi, and hellhounds (Loona and Vortex) are all Hell-born. meaning they didn't originally come from Earth and die. they are the original residents of Hell. the sinners are there own thing. love the reaction btw!! always look forward to these!

Oh, sorry wrong actress wrong idea wrong though. So Verosika is voice by Cristina Vee, who is apparently Ladybug from Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Which is a thing. She's also Sailor mars if that amuses people!

A few quick things to clear a couple of facts up without mentioning any spoilers. 1. Habzin Hotel is mostly about sinners. Helluva Boss however, focusses primarily on the hellborn denizens. Only I.M.P's clients are usually sinners who knew other people topside (the human world). 2. There is a strict hierarchy in hell. Imps are considered to be the lowest of the lowest species, even ranked lower than sinners. They don't have any magic abilities so they don't have a human disguise either. Imps aren't supposed to go topside at all so yea... they're running a highly illegal killing business. It's thanks to Stolas that they get the use grimoire at all. Loona is a hellhound and they DO have magic to some extend. That's why she makes the portals with the Grimoire/the book and can disguise herself as a human. 3. Nothing really happens if they kill off humans that aren't on the hit list. Blitzo just wants the money from his clients so they had to make sure to at least get rid of those people. xD
