Les Binks is very very technical drummer, he uses ghost notes, rolls, 6's and other decorations. He is able to mix it with heavy metal. He has huge talent. The song Exciter is the business card of Les Binks. Moreover, the whole sound of the band is pretty good. Distortion effect of guitars is fantastic. Even Priest could envy. I very appreciate this video. Fantastic!

His timing is insanely on point as well. He recorded those albums in a time that nothing could be edited easily with a mouse. Every fucking note he plays SWINGS and is IN TIME. He is a drummer on the 0,1% echelon.

he is a master also tunning the drums, he always sounds amazing, hear carefully in the way sound the toms, he is a excelent drummer, really technic and a really clean player, simon phillips school...., i love his drumming, still with his age he plays really good and tatsy, holly grail, what a sound, also his style, is super fun to hear him playing..., the rest of this guys are not at his level..., and with 70 years old..., he is amazing, so sad he was really unlucky with his carrer..., priest fuck him with the money....

Like that Les is rocking a kick ass Paiste ride cymbal, but the rest of the cymbals seem to be Zildjian. Paiste cymbals are typically expensive, and, as of a few years ago, they didn't give free cymbals to famous drummers to get their endorsement, unlike Zildjian and Sabian, who do. (I know this because I was working at Walmart in Brea California and met and chatted at length with a lady who worked for Paiste in Fullerton and divulged that, at least as recently as 2012, any drummer who played Paiste cymbals, bought the cymbals. Long time company policy not to endorse drummers by providing free cymbals to represent the brand. Strange, but true. I've researched it recently, and as far as I can tell, 8 years later, in 2020, that's still Paiste policy.)

@@Dakhaos-ou812 No. His voice is missing the same amount of color that both Tim Owens and Rob Halford have (more so Halford). He can sing on pitch and can cover the same range of notes as those two, but the timbre of his is voice is far inferior. It is missing the same ring--the high partial of the tonal spectrum, as well as a lot of the depth.
