One of my fondest memories is walking home drunk one night only to see a dude with a saxophone sitting next to a water fountain with a small crowd of people around him. He'd exclusively play cartoon intro songs on his sax. When he played Angela Anaconda, all like five people who knew it went fucking ballistic.

The Warwick Davis beam attack is real. He can just do that.

Thought this was a regular podcast episode and internally accepted that Mandy just talked about how he saw an actual leprechaun in the hood.

The Lep in the Hood Rap is the greatest leprechaun-related rap of all time

Seen some people hate how absurd the series became after 2 and 3 but at least the movies lean into it and they were always absurd and ridiculous and, IMHO, that what makes it so much fun. It wasn't a serious horror series that became a parody of itself, it was always laughing with the audience

Mandy says like 25 words in this entire episode and it kills every time

White Yoda attacks the lungs. And gives Billy the coldest tail in the universe. Also, the Enterprise ensign they're talking about is Travis Mayweather, the helmsman of the NX-01. Though it's fair not to know his name: even Doctor Phlox had trouble remembering his name while treating him for a hypospray allergy. And to further annoy Brendan, I didn't hate Enterprise, but it certainly wasn't on-par with Deep Space Nine. As for other films that Warwick Davis was in, he had a part in Ashens and the Quest for the Game Child, where it turned out that HE was the Silver Skull. I haven't thought about Angela Anaconda in like 20 years guys, what the hell. Still, shout-out to Mandy's fellow trombonist.

@@nefariousgremlin7554 Kinda, yeah. Even with the final season of DS9 having its issues, partly due to it being kinda rushed, DS9 was kind of a high watermark for Trek.

The Pokemon bit was unexpected but appreciated.

As a hard of hearing listener; Can confirm: Leprechaun in the hood is a VERY different movie when you're hard of hearing.

Also, in regards to the Pokemon movies vs the original Digimon movie, one needs to remember that they stapled three OVAs together to make the Digimon movie in the Americas. On one hand, the Pokemon movies were pretty much better all around than the Digimon Movie. If you count the OVAs on their own, I'd say that Our War Game smokes the Pokemon Movies.

Loving the star trek enterprise and x files references. Enterprise has a lot of cool lore and a pretty cool visual aesthetic for the starfleet and alien tech designs, but its a shame the show sucks lol
