I met him once at a charity event. He was so sweet and just normal. He knew my friends family because her 11 year old brother did a make a wish at the time to be an actor and he kept in touch with her family even after he passed away. Him and Toby maguire would send Xmas presents. He was soo cool and funny when we met him. Just a really great nice guy.

My sister and I meet Leo at our hometown of Tijuana, at the time they where filming Titanic.. they where walking around Revolution street (a very popular tourist are of our city) and we came up to him and asked for autographs. He was very nice and incredibly tall and thin at the time... one of his costars in the movie I think it was the guys that played the low class passengers were with him and some huge bodyguards.. they asked one of the sales clerks in the store we caught up to him about a restaurant and a ended up sending them to local staple that you gotta visit when you come here. I wish we could have had smart phones back then 😣
