247addiction, so? if he had the potential, the capacity, and the intelligence, along with the opportunity then why would his parent’s not foster that? it likely would have been easier for him to lose sense of that relatable-ness and grounded-ness he was made sure to keep. he could be snotty, rude, and uptight, but he is not.

I've been wanting to see an update on this guy for the longest time. There just seemed to be something different about him, even compared to other child prodigies. I thought Oprah would end up having the same sort of friendship with him that she had with Mattie Steponick. She said she'd have him on the show every year, but only had him on, like twice I think. Whatever happened with that? Maybe he didn't want to go on the show all the time? I wonder if he's ever had any neuroscientist interested in studying him to see what they could find out about his unusual learning abilities? Wouldn't it be the ultimate irony if the genetic phenomena he studies is actually the explanation for his genius?

I remember watching his interview LIVE twice when it aired on Oprah Winfrey several years ago. I was in high school at the time. Do you know if he has a website nowadays?
