I saw Mr Nimoy play Fiddler on the Roof in 1971 at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, Mass. with my family, I was about 10 years old and already a huge fan- SOOO I actually walked up to his wardrobe/make up tent during the intermission and asked him to sign my Playbook. Seeing some ballsy little kid made him smile and he gladly signed and shooed me away.He was awesome as Tevia! super strong voice and incredible stage presence. I will never forget it.

I took a class on public speaking taught by Leonard Nimoy in 1996 at Cal Arts. He was one of the best teachers anyone could ever have! He talked about showing confidence and what he used when speaking as Spock.

I loved his poetry and records when I was a teen in the 70's. I played them over and over on hot summer and cold winter days! I also loved Star Trek! I got to meet him once in Syracuse NY in 1978. He signed my two books of his " You and I" and "Will I think of You"...two very impressionable books for me, as a young teen! The words in these books helped shape and set a standard in my life for finding beautiful romance! I also was inspired to take up black and white photography on account of Mr Leonard Nimoy! Sensitive, talented, mysterious, just loved him!!

I find it amusing that Mr. Boucher first introduces the beloved actor as (written phonetically here) Leonard NEEmoy, accenting the NEE... but in part two he switches to Leonard NEHmoy, changing to the NEH sound and the faster beat on that syllable (almost as if it were N'moy).

Yes the new Star Trek films are just as good as the originals films no complaints looking forward for the next new Star Trek film it's too bad they won't even let William Shatner appear in any of the new films so unfortunate

Nimoy was one of the defining actors and personalities in star trek. He and Nichelle Nichols had an impact on peoples lives and stood up for some of the key elements that made star trek what it was and kept it from being yet another action oriented and violent space spectacle lacking any true character and soul. They are sorely missed.

Leonard Nimoy is a far more creative talent than Shatner ever was! After Bill began doing those music covers and boasting about how much he brought to Star Trek ( admittedly, he was great as Captain James Tiberius Kirk and many other roles), I kind of lost a bit of respect for who he was in life. Nimoy, however, has always been a favorite; his 'Alien Voice' audio recordings are incredible classics by themselves!
