Three Dance Episodes from "On the Town" is Leonard Bernstein's love letter to New York with many dance and rhythm elements. Alondra de la Parra is one of the most famous female conductors in the world and performed this piece together with the WDR Funkhausorchester on 24.05.2019 at the WDR Funkhaus in Cologne.

Ich bewundere Alondra de la Parra seit ich ihr Portrait und auch die Proben mit den Musikern gesehen habe. Es gibt eine gute Zusammenarbeit.❤

If you don’t loosen it up and feel the jazziness, you aren’t doing it right. Conductor de la Parra obviously understands that. That’s what gives this version so much life.
