Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this. Just stumbled upon this full set from 2014 and this is how I remember Leon and his great band. Almost 4 years since Leon has been gone and I miss him so. So many memories from attending dozens of his shows through the years. He will always be the MOSAT.

First saw Leon when I was 14 at the Tulsa Speedway. My older sister had all his albums . Grew up with this man. I am now 59 and no longer in Tulsa. I'm up in KCMO now. Just thought I'd share.

I remember when Eric Clapton’s entire band was from Tulsa, don’t know what was in the water back then but that “Tulsa Sound” was infectious! 👍🎸🇨🇦

+Quasatoad I've seen him twice now, both shows great, large and small venues, he was present and chatty like never before last time. I will continue to see him whenever I can get there. Maybe you just don't get Leon. Keep trying!

+bosco joplin What great taste you have in idols. I'm jealous you saw him at 14. I'm 60 and didn't see him until last April, having loved him for what seems a lifetime! Sorry everyone doesn't enjoy him like we do!🎩👓

Leon is timeless, I have loved him since early 70's. My one regret is never getting to see him. His music will live forever. RIP Leon, Master of Space and Time

LOL what is not right in your life, Quasatoad, that produces such cynical bile ?? I'm thinking that either ketchup or rhubarb may be needed as a cleanse.

Same old stuff. Leon puts out a great album with Elton John in 2010; releases a follow-up (finally) in April of this year. Does he play anything from these new albums in his Live shows?? No. He's been on auto-pilot for a while now & should retire! Why go see him anymore? He plays the same show you saw him play the last time you saw him. And if I was Jackie Wessel, I'd be out of mind by now!

Unfortunately for you, Toad, you ran into someone who has seen him perform many, many times. What you said is simply not true - it's not the same show. What he DOES do the same is come out and jam his ass off non-stop for 45 minutes. No rest, no pause, no chatter. He brings the music. I would suggest that YOU should retire - but you don't do anything to retire from, do you? Kind of pathetic that a never-was thinks he can call someone else a has-been.
