I've been a fan of Leon ever since he released his Hit Song " Beyond" here in the US. You should check it out!

Thanks to Brandon and Harri for this, a captivating voice and delivery, loved it.

Leon’s great. He’s from Crowley, Texas, just south of Fort Worth. He knew exactly what he wanted to do for his debut, worked on his demo until it was perfect, knew exactly what it was worth, slept on friends’ couches and did open mike nights and held out until the record company reached his number, and when he finally signed, the demo was so perfect they released it without changes.

From the 2015 album, "Coming Home", this was used in the HBO series Big Little Lies. Leon learned to play the guitar by playing simple chords to accompany his lyrics. Definitely a spiritual song, Leon drew the inspiration from the Al Green song, " Take Me To The River" to write this song with the river representing being baptized and turning to God for life. Beautiful vocals and harmonies, with the addictive tambourine and guitar setting the memorable pace of the tune. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Brandon. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

I really like Leon. So much variety in his music but that voice always shines through. Shy, Lisa Sawyer, Coming Home, and Bad, Bad Thing are all awesome.

I saw him first row for $10 back in the day. It was the closest it could be to seeing Sam Cooke. Felt like being in the 60s

Leon Bridges has been around for awhile. He does keep that old school sound alive, but with modern twists too. Check out his collaboration with Khruangbin, ‘Texas Sun’ - you will love it!

Beautiful. I'm so glad that the instrumentation didn't go big along the way as so often happens. I thought he sounded very much like Stevie Wonder. Thanks for the upload.
