It usually takes a few years for a song to really pop but unfortunately,we are bombarded constantly with new music so we dont take the time to appreciate songs until years later.

it's been near 3 years since this tune dropped and I keep coming back to it.. something about the phrase "don’t worry about me" sound so mature and so wholesome. this is without a doubt a breakup song.. and yet it's also this charming love song. I love this narrative that it starts out from the male perspective and then it's answered by the female voice not to worry about her and with each response we get more and more details. round and round it goes. man grows and then when the woman's feelings comes around it's his turn to tell her not to worry about him. there's no blame or venom anywhere to be found in the lyrics. it's so wonderfully nurturing yet melancholic. perfectly "saudade" as the Portuguese would say. ☺ I love this song

I don't like r&b. Part of the reason I stopped listening to Bridges. (turned away from his old style). But was trying to find new music I could like from him for awhile. Again, not a huge fan of r&b, but this song just hits. Always like to find an artist who's music is so good, it makes me like a song outside my normal listening. Simply an amazing artist, you can tell it's a legitimate artistic production. Not to mention, the woman's voice makes it whole. And that bass most of all...guitar adds a plus... Makes me love music again.
