Installing the slip on on the Ninja 400 does not alter the emissions. If they are billing it as street legal I would say you are good to go. - Van

Install exactly as shown in this video. Pretty sure we just removed and discarded the shield (we shot this a long time ago and I am getting old so I forget some shit). - Van

Great vid!! When putting on a LV slip on do you install a different filter? I just purchased an LV GP Cora slip on for my 2014 Ninja 300 and wondering if it needs a new filter and update maps.

You do not need a new air filter or any updates to the ecu with this. Just install the slip on and go. - Van

I notice a burn smell coming from the side of the pipe, is that normal from putting WD-40?

I would like to ask is it normal there is little gas leakage from the cutoff slot on connector pipe, where the clamp sit on? When you rev the bike, I actually feel it. Is it normal or it is bad installation work?

The joints on the exhaust are not 100% sealed, especially when you first install it. No need to worry, you are good to go and this will not cause any issues. - Van

With the slip together systems used on motorcycles very slight leaks are common and possible when the system is new. If you have one it typically stops are a short period. Nothing to worry about at all. - Van

Would you say the LV-10 or the Corsa is louder on a Z400? I don't want it too loud where I need earplugs👂

Sorry we do not have that info. It is for sure louder than the oem and leans towards the louder side given the smaller canister size. - Van
