I just listened to the Bobby Vee version from the 60s...and I knew that I'd heard the song before...lol. I grew up in the 70s and this version is the one I remember. Bobby Vee did it great though.

This song releases a flood of memories that has me drowning in the sorrow of knowing that I can never recover lost time.
