You forgot about disabling the built-in battery in BIOS. If you don't do it, you may fry your hardware if you're unlucky.

Most of the Carbons that were bought by Government, were under a special windows license. The activation key is not available anywhere on the computer. Make sure you do a analysis to recover the product key, which is the only way you can activate windows on the new drive, unless of course you want to by new windows OS
