prebuilts have come a long way. The Legions by Lenovo, and the Omens from HP are two I always check out. I have a 5yr old OMEN (8700/2080) still running strong. Something rarely brought up with pre builts is that you get a full warranty, and usually the option to add another year or 3, for under $100. They mostly use good cases, PSUS, and components these days, and it seems that they're always on sale of some kind. And you're buying from ONE single vendor. I've upgraded my OMEN with Memory, HDDs, SSDs, GFX cards, etc. ANd the case is standard enough, that if I wanted to, (I dont) I could build another new machine inside it. I dunno, they get a bad rap IMo. and years ago, that was warranted for sure.
Thank you for this. I am not really a gamer but into photo editing and getting into video creation. This seems like it may fit my needs very well!

@@EviiProductions33 I just received mine yesterday, I can tell you it’s absolutely amazing for the price. I can easily run Warzone 2 on maxed out ultra settings, ray tracing, literally everything on max and it gets 75fps. If you cut it to all high settings it’s around 110-120fps depending on where you’re at on the map. Fortnite I had a bit more trouble as far as maxed out epic settings, but with just high it runs perfectly. Probably something to do with the large map on fortnite. Just ordered this today from my local Curry's to replace my current budget Gaming PC I've had for 5 years now. It'll be till tomorrow when I actually get my hands on it, but I was really curious, so I clicked on here to see what it's about. What I'm most excited about, is the level of upgradability this has. I was recommended the PC because of that, as well as the specs, namely the processor. My current PC doesn't offer much at all in the way of upgrading, so this is a much more promising alternative. Plus it just looks REALLY COOL with all the RGB lights inside showing off all the components. Can't wait till tomorrow 😊
Im planing to buy this PC and I wanted to thank you for this video to know what to buy 👍
Wouldn’t it have made more sense to record the gameplay test footage and then edit it into frame for your KZread video? That way we can see the games performance better then just viewing the recording of a physical screen.. btw what was the max temp reached during gameplay??
I'm enjoying this unit. I'm super OCD and noticed the processor RGB is slightly darker than the rear RGB if set to the same color/mode. But I'm now less bothered when I see yt videos showing the same. It's much more noticeable when set to a static single color. All in all, great unit and video! Thx.

I bought one of these in 2021 to get a decent GPU without overpaying for one. I have upgraded the base CPU fan to the Artic Freezer 34 eSports Duo and then later to a Deepcool Castle 240EX AIO. I also upgraded the 3700X to a 5900X. In addition to that I upgraded the RTX 2060 to an RX 6700XT and the RAM from 16GB to 32GB. The video card upgrade required upgrading the power supply as well. Lastly, I added the motherboard VRM motherboard heatsinks from the Lenovo site and added a heatsink to my NVME SSD. These machines are highly upgradeable and I recommend getting one if you want a prebuilt that you can upgrade in the future if you feel comfortable.

Glad yours bricked when you got it. This line of PCs from lenovo is known to brick after 3-12 months due to bios issues. These typically appear after windows updates for some reason. The newer bios update fixes it, but it is a nightmare trying to get the pc to boot back into windows so you can download the new software. Took Lenovo like a year or two to release a bios for it that fixes the issues. They were repairing these by swapping the mobo and downloading an unreleased “experimental” bios for warrantys

I’m looking into the 3070 ti version. What is concerning me is is the 650W. Will that be sufficient?

it seems so mate, I'm looking at the 3060ti version, that comes with a 500 watt power supply, on the NVidia site, GPUS over the 3060ti mark need at least 650 power, so it seems your covered mate

I bought 3070 with Ryzen 7 5800x CPU…on first startup i got blue screen of death.. somehow i managed to install windows and update the drivers. Few says later bsod again…tried to fix it bu detecting faulty drivers etc and fixed it for a day. bsod came back in a loop next day. After 10 days of frustration i returned the pc and im searching for a new one now. I saw on reviews more ppl had the same issue. Its prolly some hardware issue and i think its ram or motherboard
i know i am almost an year late but tldr what i lvoe about Lenovo Legion oem builds you can: change cpu cooler and case fans because Lenovo is not using properitary 5-6 pin fan connectors (like Dell and HP) - change your PSU - because their mobos are using standard 24 and 4-8 pin connectors - ignoring cpu support with bios updates... you really can stick wtih those machines for a bit of time and not miss anything really
A few questions if i may. What brand is the nvidia gpu? What are the dimensions of the tower case? I have checked several sellers, including Lenovo's website, and I can't find this information. Thanks.

It’s probably the best oem rtx 3060 I’ve ever used.
As someone who owns a t5 (older model though), look up lenovo t5 crash action suit. There was incompatibility with someone of the parts, enough that they're getting sued since the pc crashes at least once a day. Maybe they've fixed it for newer models, maybe they haven't. Either way, it's not worth the attempt at that price.

There’s a second m.2 slot for an ssd, you can always upgrade the hard drive that also comes in it. So you’ve in total got 3 storage slots that can be upgraded but I wouldn’t touch the boot drive unless you know what you’re doing.
i accually got a 3070 geforce RTX. really good pc i suggest
These often come with a Lenovo m/b that has some bios limitations watch out when upgrading memory as it may not be able to run at its best speed. 😉

I can confirm, mine came with a Lenovo motherboard which doesn’t look the best but performance is great nonetheless. If you want to upgrade, all parts are easily reusable in another mobo, but no upgrade needed if you’re fine with ultra settings 75-100fps on pretty much any game
