Lenovo Legion M7 Review: Did Lenovo make a mouse that is not E-Waste?

Ойындар

Check out my surprising review of the Lenovo Legion M7 Wireless Gaming mouse! This Meme looking mouse sports a 3395 sensor, optical switches, an infinity scroll wheel, and a sniper button in a large ergo size that comes in at 78gs for only $66!

For anyone who is interested in this mouse, I bought it to compare it against Logitech MX3S and I ended up keeping the Lenovo M7. The lower weight, infinity scroll, and much better polling rate made me keep it over the MX3S. I was also able to turn off all RGB lightning. The battery life lasts easily a week or more with polling rate set to 500. Overall, I think this is a great mouse for productivity and gaming. I hope Lenovo continues to work on this recipe and also release the mouse outside of China.

Thank you. This is a great review. You deserve much more followers. Specially because you answer to the comments. If by any chance you see this one, is there any other mouse with 3 or 4 buttons on the side that you recommend over this one? I'm almost considering getting an ambidextrous mouse to use the buttons from both sides

The Glorious Model-I has 4 buttons on the side and it is not bad for a large ergo mouse. Most of the mice I cover only have two buttons on the side.

@@Gen3DTechThank you! I saw the Glorious Model-I but found it chunky (I think is because of the unrequested thumb rest). I was thinking that the Lenovo would be a little bit smaller. In a different direction do you know of a two buttons mouse that has the wheel programmable binding keyboard actions (tilting or not)?

  • @Gen3DTech

That is not a common function. I honestly don't mess much with key bindings, but if I find a mouse that I have that can do it, I will post it here. @@Berecutecu

@@Gen3DTechThanks. I'll need to decide between the Lenovo M7 and the Glorious Model l 2 Wireless. Glorious Cons 1. Thumb Rest 2. Can't bind tilting the wheel 3. 129mm vs 126.9mm length / 42 mm vs 40.3 mm height 4. Glorious switches non-swapable 5. Lenovo has a 800mha battery 6. No infinity scroll Lenovo Cons 1. Only 3 side buttons but may be able to bind actions to the wheel? 2. Grab width is 64.2mm vs 62mm from Glorious 3. Feet are poor 4. The ergonomic body can force the small and medium hands hands to palm use instead of claw or finger mode Weight their about the same, 75g vs 78g. Did I missed something? Subscribed now, I forgot at first. Edit: I ended finding an ambidextrous mouse that has the wheel programable. The Pulsar X2A. This is promising. It is a much lighter option compared to the other two at 57g.

Thanks for the review. Honestly, it seems like a good option to me, since there are few mice with the infinite scroll wheel that comes in handy for productivity. I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer: 1. Both the software and the product description mention that the scroll wheel tilts to the right and left. Could you confirm this? 2. Does it come with grip tapes in the box? Thank you

I still play WoW on occasion, and while I have a great mouse(WL BeastX, with the beast x max coming), I truly do miss the tilt wheel for WoW. So, this will be my g903 replacement for WoW. I wish I could just have a g903 in a magnesium shell though lol.

Bit of the wrong video to post this on but I have a few questions about the Oni S Wireless that I placed an order for 2 months ago and since then have had: No updates, No contact, No responding emails even after numerous attempts. @@ifteykharulislam Do you want a wired or wireless mouse? If you want to stick with wired, then the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 is an amazing mouse for only $49, has the latest sensor, and up to 8K polling, with really good switches. Now it is a medium size mouse, so if you want a smaller one I highly recommend the Lamzu Atlantis Mini for $89 which is my current favorite wireless mouse. If you are on a budget and want a wireless mouse under $50, the only good small mouse I can think of is the Razer Orochi V2. There is a new Delux M800 3395 mouse coming out with is basically a wireless Viper Mini but just a tad bigger.

@@legobrickingnews Hello! Overall, the mouse is good, but sometimes there are micro lags. Perhaps my router affects the signal. Sometimes the mouse wheel click is duplicated, it triggers as if I clicked 2-4 times at once. The battery lasts a long time, it doesn’t squeak. For this price, the mouse is good. But I advise you to study the current options, I think there are better models over time.
