Agree. Legion Go is really a dream come true device. It's amazing. Love every minute im playing with it, love the versatility. Once you installed windows update, amd graphics driver and legion space its good to go. Ton of things you can do with it. Beautiful screen for emulation too 8'8 inches 1600p on quiet mode locked at 30 or 60fps sheesh. Every AAA goty games runs well too.

Great vid mate. Picked up my Go on release and the updates have been fast and high quality. The communication from Lenovo to the community has also been fantastic. I’m using the Go as my primary device and an Ayaneo Geek for back up

@@MekelKasanova it’s dope ! I started off with the Steam Deck , had it for a while but couldn’t play all the games I wanted so I grabbed the Ally. I then was able to get the GO so I played with the Ally but couldn’t stop thinking like “ I might as well get the legion go “ lol so I took the Ally back and got it and I don’t regret it 💯🤝🏾

With the new AMD VGA drivers, it now has Integer Scaling in settings. So you could drop the resolution down to 800p and it looks way better with Integer scaling on

When you use integer scaling do you set the screen resolution to 1600p and in game resolution to 800p? Or is it the other way around

@@trevorb9281 No you just set the in game resolution to 800p it doesn't matter what the OS/Native resolution is. That only matters when you use RSR.

I consider my Legion Go complete after all the updates done already. Great work by the Lenovo team. Creating custom hotkey feature is coming, but but i have workarounds for that while i wait.

As some with a Go and Deck, it’s absolutely fair to say the deck far exceeds the Go/Ally for press and play. The deck takes 5-10 seconds to get into a game when it’s asleep, the Windows “consoles” take soooooo much longer. Not to mention updates, updates, and updates. That being said the Go is by far my favorite. Love having every single handheld game I want on one device without the issue. It’ll be the best product on the market, with no debate, if windows stops sucking and gives us a handheld mode that turns off all of the background program nonsense. Yeah the Oled deck is a beautiful screen, but it’s like makeup on a pig for a lot of games. *”Sure that dark blue ocean looks amazing, but the game is still forced to be on crappy settings”* tl;dr if you’re into indy games and emulation, get the deck without question. If you like playing ALL games at far above average settings, including every AAA game, there’s no question. It’s the Go

I think that if we as the consumers continue to not only support the handheld market but also making it known that we want a handheld or tablet like experience for windows, they wil make it happen. Might take a while tho

I recently got the rog ally with an xg mobile 3080. Docking is a very great experience and preforms better than my previous desktop pc that was 5 years old. Aside from the fans being loud, I have zero complaints with it. And if I wanna take it on the go I just take it off the dock and I’m good to go.

My issue dockingnit was I had the 6850 and the amd drivers for it eliminated the igpu drivers for some reason.

@@steveybiggunzgaming8118 you have to activate it when you plug it in and deactivate it when unplugging it with the armory crate app. Takes like 5 seconds so no hassle, but if you don’t it’ll cause issues like that

1600p 144, is nice to have for streaming from a pc. I do that a lot with moonlight sunshine.

Yes the lenevo space is better but it went from like an F to D+ it's still missing a lot of features I'll cut it slack though because the amory crate on the ally was also just as bad hopefully they can get it together the most important thing that needs fixing is that custom TDP it's baffling how that's not fixed it's the most important thing in a handheld

What is the difference regarding triggers between go and ally?

im hoping we get different controllers that we can attach maybe a right hand controller with out the fps mode stuff, or maybe a different set of controller with better trackpads

Hi, Can you explain how to scale up games to full screen?. For example street fighter.

they actually said that they are planing on upñdating it further, aprox in 2 to 3 weeks we will see a new legion space and a new bios with fan and tdr controls

Got mine for Christmas too. Never had a PC before, only a psp and a switch, so. It's Al new. Love it, but some (4) games are unplayable as they run upside down, there are probably more so I hope they fix it

I love mine and while The steam deck is awesome, I love big screens and I love all its features. I've been sold since day one

My only issues are the touchscreen issues and the controllers constantly disconnecting.

I was so close to getting the ally, so glad I got this. Picked it up today. The speakers suck ass but I bought headphones, better sound anyways :) someone needs to make a case that redirects the sound.

Legion Space is in a great space, especially now that the deadzones are fixed. Also the store front has been growing on me, just picked up P5 off it lol

Yep. Had a steam deck, own a ally and just bought a legion. The ally is getting sold and i wont be going back to a deck. The legion is handheld gaming excellence

Once legion space is running smoothly or up to par with armory crate or steam os, it's going to be positive reviews out the wazoo

Just waiting for my 2TB drive to arrive and I'll be putting ChimeraOS or Nobara Steam Deck edition on mine. Windows has been good on the Legion when I'm using it as a tablet but it's pretty poor as a gaming OS. Too many issues with games not going into the right video mode and Legion Space is still pretty terrible compared to SteamOS. Now that the hardware support is almost ironed out (including custom TDP that's still broken on Windows) I'll be checking it out. Only thing that doesn't work is Gamepass but I haven't even redeemed that offer yet on Windows.

How is the dpad for fighting game bro? Like for sf6 i play chunli, the combination to do stance, drive rush etc is quite complex, will i be finding it hard to use the dpad? Cause I'm used to ps4's

Anybody experiencing the legion go not waking up out of sleep mode and using a black screen?

I never ship a device or anything over 200$. I had the option to ship mine but drove 90 miles to a different Best Buy instead lol too many things can go wrong during shipping

In almost all the footage I see of this running I see a lot of stuttering, even on the the footage shown running on it on this video.... Is it really like that? That would drive me mad if it is, took me ages to get my Legion gaming laptop running smooth.

Depends on the game and the TDP settings. The software wasn’t great at launch and performance on games was rough but it’s not that anymore

It is to me because I play a lot of fighting games and I can’t do all the inputs consistently on this dpad. Otherwise it’s great overall

Feels sily to spend so much and get a device that wont run future games (oled deck) , or get a screen smaller then the deck (Ally), so this wins! perfect middle road +& Only wish they could push fps to = ally quickly they are heads and tails better. people who care about ui early are sily, and most have every hand held so they look for stuff to talk about.

Try play rocket league or forza horizon on this the car doesn’t turn properly it feels so off

I love the legion go, but it doesn’t last nearly as long as the deck oled. It’s just not on the same level.
