As a 75 year old Brooklyn Italian girl, I loved this group. Brooklyn gave us some amazing singers and groups.

I'm from Oregon, and I also love their music and singing .I was raised in the 50s and 60s and have been a Doo Wop fan my whole life. Lol

As a 70 yr old guy & former DJ I still revere and preserve our sounds...Lenny Cocco and group are just amazing. See how many of 2023's stars are around in 30 years!!!

@williamhighfill539 🇺🇲🎄 We're from the same era. What a great career you had. You and Randy Bachman could talk for hours. I learned so much from his CBC radio program "Vinyl Tap." I couldn't believe how bad most of the music seemed from 1970 on. Thank goodness the internet finally put all our music at our beck and call. This performance is a favorite I come to hear often.

As a senior Irishman, who ever since grade school, has always dated and loved Italian girls…so much so that my friends older sisters changed my name to Speeroni…Oh how I long for the great vocal groups of long ago, and soft scent of a girls perfume when we danced, wishing the night would never end….

Italians were are the best. No knock on anyone . Just were are. Maybe bc I'm a proud one. South Philly Bronx Brooklyn were the best. Trenton Chambersburg the best pizza 🍕. De Lorenzo's. 😊😊

I have to rewind to see the drummer twirl his sticks if I'm so caught up watching these gorgeous guys sing❣️ This Michigan Motown girl is hooked on this group and this song and this performance ❣️ Thank goodness for the internet❣️ There's so much more to love, and I can see it anytime❣️

Got to MC Lenny on a few shows on our yacht in NY Harbor . Always a fantastic show. A real gentleman. Always loved by all the other groups.

Born in 1967.,I only discovered this song two years ago.. I sure do love this song. My parents used to listen had The DUPREES album Sing as I still listened ( consciously) , counting how many great songs are just on one album side , as I was amazed as a young boy in 1973 It was some of the first music I had heard way back in 1967.

Omgosh though Doo woo not my era it was my husbands who passed recently. Coming frm a big family I was familiar with & John, my husband, has(had) all these albums, cds, tapes,of ALL doowop imaginable that I’m finding & listening to. All abt love & brgs me to constant tears as I listen to all of it day in day out, Treasured music & lyrics you’ll never hear in todays sounds. I found this tape in the car as I’m finding many thngs. :(

Though about my first girlfriend In school she was a cheerleader used to park my 57 Ford where she was practicing on the field. I was crazy about her but she went back to her old boyfriend and I was devastated. Looked her up on Facebook and found her and called her.

I am addicted to this song! Whenever I get a chance to play it on my phone, I tap this 1989 version. The rest of the time, it plays in my head! 😛 This is sheer perfection and blew all the big star versions out of the water when it hit the airwaves. Sheer perfection. To all who ever sang or played at a Chimes performance, thank you. (That includes the drummer and his fancy twirl!) Give us as many details as you can, everyone. I'm 73, loved the '60's music but missed out on the dances back then. I'm ready to find a partner and break out the doo-wop. Any takers! Boomers never quit. 🎶💗
